Can old replay versions still function?

I have an old Tiger game that shoes the value of abusing choke points, angling, and target prioritization. My only hard carry. Will upload tomorrow, on wrong device.

Kind of hesitant to show this one.  It does demonstrate some things, though:

How to lose a game as arti.

How to lose a game as heavies.

How bad of an idea it is to let an enemy ISU control your flank.

Were I running a political campaign, I'd say the match demonstrated a situation where a tank, poorly suited for a task, had to assume that role in order to achieve a win.

Got two replays that could be of use: (both version 8.6)

http://wotreplays.com/site/261059#self tactics replay

Holding a flank alone in a KV-2 against multiple vehicles. Shows the importance of good angling & tactical retreats so you can reload & pre-aim. Solo-part starts at countdown 12:35

http://wotreplays.com/site/261108#team

Scoring 4K damage with a KV-4, this replay also has a very entertaining fight of me vs their KV-4 amidst hammerfall shells (arty) Not much in tactics/strategy departement tho I'm afraid, except for angling tming when enganged by two tanks from 2 sides (happens just before the KV-4 duel)

Got a few replays here you could take a look at, if you like.

First off, the Black Prince game that netted me number 3 for the tank in the Heavy Marathon.  5k damage, a huge steel wall, and a win on Arctic Region.  Bit of a derp at the end by me but it worked out.

Victory!, Black Prince, Arctic Region, 7/9/13 3:11 PM: 2,697 nXP, 5,098 dmg

Next, the Ace Tanker match for my Cromwell - over 3000 damage in a tier 8 battle, and one of the first few battles I'd had on the reworked Fjords.  Also ended up with 140k credits from the match thanks to the On Track event and the Hat Trick mission.

Victory!, Cromwell, Fjords, 7/4/13 5:53 PM: 2,188 nXP, 3,190 dmg

Third, the Hellcat game posted in the TD Marathon thread.  2034 base XP, just under 5000 damage, and one kill short of a Pool's unfortunately.  Also features an average pubbie (49%) in a stock KV-1S actually listening to requests for help and doing exactly that.  Game would have turned out differently without him.

Victory!, M18 Hellcat, Himmelsdorf, 7/23/13 8:15 PM: 3,052 nXP, 4,958 dmg

And lastly... a bit of an older replay, but hands down the best one I have.  Back in 8.4, I managed this 3198xp game in the Lowe on Mountain Pass.  The way it turned out though... it came down to me killing the last enemy tank with my second-to-last shell in the last 30 seconds or so... with under 100hp.  The tank was a Super Pershing, and I had the misfortune of finding him at a distance.  Since this was before the accuracy changes... hitting those weak spots on the turret were pot-luck for the Lowe.  For your perusal, if you think it worthwhile:

Victory!, Löwe, Mountain Pass, 4/22/13 12:29 AM: 3,198 nXP, 6,414 dmg

This was a pretty nice come from behind win. Would have been sweeter if the enemy arty hadn't been afk at the end, but this battle went from being fairly well in hand to "oh shit I'm all alone!" in a matter of seconds it seemed.

Note that the replay link is right above the team stats and you have to click on the tank icon to download it.

Match starts poorly with a griefing platoon from ARMED 7(but i'm pretty sure we were better off with those two guys dead.) and the usual fail in the valley.

Enemy team pushes the village hard, Dingbat dies in the middle at some point and Seff manages to run pass the village guys which made their T69(their best player) and a Lowe peel off the blob long enough for me and some randoms to crush their attack. Mopping up time afterwards.

This was a pretty good over all team battle where my teammate and I got the hill on Mines early and the rest of the team did a good job of denying the enemy a chance to take it from us.  This allowed me to run free and punish the other team when they tried to flank our hill and in the end gave me the perfect vantage to help finish off the last three on their own base.

The second battle fought on Live Oaks was another good team effort where I, thanks to a low damage roll, was able to solo a Centurion I, finish off an AT15, and able to light up a JagdTiger 8.8 for our arty to finish off for the win.  Funny thing, at one point we were up 6 tanks to 3 and karnage from FOXEY comments to the effect "it's nice to be carried instead of having to carry."  This was almost our death knell.  Within a minute after he says this we lose 3 tanks to their 1, I'm at 30 HP and suddenly we only have a 1 tank advantage and they have a full HP JagdTiger 8.8!  Fortunately the JagdTiger didn't try and press his advantage over me when I was taking on the AT15 or this could have very well been a loss.

Never, do you still have the 8.6 client? I've got an interesting replay to talk about regarding making strategic decisions while in platoon. But if you've already patched 8.7 then don't worry about it!

Centurion 7, Lakeville north side. I go to the center road quickly to grab some spots on enemy tanks transiting the field. Needle a couple heavies, one of them loses his nerve and doesn't push all the way to the city, he gets picked apart in short order. Hang out as a sentry/spotter for a short while to catch anyone else in the open, then move on to the enemy capture point. Deal with some things around the capture point and then push through to the south side of the valley to shoot up some enemies holding back our valley force. Can't help myself, use a HESH round on the side of an E-75, and thankfully it doesn't deal only 100 damage. Deal with the T34 and E-75 in valley, then turn around yet again to deal with the enemy vehicles that came back to cap to try to stop us. They don't hold up very long. Even more XP than the match that earned me mastery on the tank, currently sitting at #6 on the Noobmeter top 20.

I got back-to-back Radley-Walter's Medals today... one in my Object 704 and one in my IS3. In the IS 3 battle, I also got a Kolobanov's Medal.

I'm still shaking a little bit. Two very intense battles in a row.

Err, I'm still a baddie and such, but I think this *might* qualify. About 2.8k damage win IIRC ,though the T49(60%er, did 1.7k damage) and the T-50(52%er, 500 damage, and enough spotting to net himself as much xp as me) helped a lot. It was taken in 8.6, so I don't know if you can still view it...

Up there with my best games account-wide, and by far and away my personal best scout game;

http://wotreplays.com/site/279533#team

8.7 game that was played earlier today. Quick double scout run through field, forward and then back again to rack up some quick spots and dismantle a good portion of the enemy tanks. Told my 13 90 platoon mate to head back in preparation for the push across into the depression, as soon as he got there it was just a matter of getting the Foch out of the way and then cleaning up the game from there. Still somewhat overwhelmed the game ended up being as good as it was.

Victory!, T110E5, Himmelsdorf, 12/08/13 15:50: 2,215 nXP, 9,487 dmg

Massive carry including handing out death and destruction. Was close to being capped out when city-goers collapsed but luckily one of the pubbies stopped in time to for me to get there. Got a top gun, Radley-Walters's, and steel wall.

I did not think this was a particularly spectacular game at the time but I ended it with my Master Tanker badge.

T29 Master Tanker.

A bit of kill stealing never hurts your kill death ratio.

Kill stealing like a pro!

This was a pretty hard carry and even though I had some mistakes I never had a round fired at me till the end and didn't take any damage at all.  Got me a Top Gun and Radley-Walters.

Alright, so here's one. I'm in an E-25 with 7 kills and 40 HP. I have ~45% effective camo skill thanks to this being a converted Tiger (P) crew. Enemy 3601 (H) is on the cap of Redshire encounter with 441 HP. We see each other, I fire, he fires. I die....he burns to death.

We then win because we had a KV-1 that didn't load the match sitting at spawn, last man standing, and I got my Radley-Walters'.

Replay and stats.

Ki Nu Chai, XVM Win prediction 22%; Down 4 to 10 @ 10:33.  Ended up being an exciting nail-biter.

Defeat!, Chi-Nu Kai, Komarin, 11/30/13 5:15 PM: 1,509 nXP, 1,052 dmg

Top gun was little consolation.  Not having played arty myself, I would appreciate tips on the best way to avoid arty in slowish tanks like this.  What were the wespe's chances of hitting behind the house in that final scene?  Did I have a better chance employing random movement evasion?  For a complete rundown, see attached spoiler.txt.
