Looking to learn.

Recommended Posts

I have been playing this game for about two years now. I have improved my WN 8 and Win Rate since starting but I am still need of getting better. I am on mostly in the morning usually around 8 am EST to about 9:30 am and on again from 6 pm to about 7 pm. On Friday's I have much more flexibility. Saturdays are hit and miss and I mostly do not play on Sunday's. If you are able to help me please let me know.

Thanks,

green

Play4fun bruh. Makes the game more enjoyable.

It's no fun not being destroyed early in the battle and not getting to do much in a game.

Kv-1 best stat padding tank NA.

I don't want to stat pad, I want to actually learn how to play the game not give the appearance that I know how to play.

Map awareness is the most crucial part of succeeding. If you have map awareness you'll know when to move and where.

Check lists that I did to start getting better,

Before game starts-

  • Am I at good fps? If not turn stuff down. People often overlook how much fps can make a huge difference in win8
  • What's my ping? Do I need to reset router or call comcast
  • What tanks are on my team and where might they go
  • What tanks are on the other team and where might they go
  • Where can I go to benefit my team in my tank I have selected
  • Is there arty?

During game

  • Check mini map every 15-30 seconds. Make a habit of it.
  • Play to win. Every move you make is to win. So what if you don't do damage you spotted their team etc.
  • Protect yourself. This I have trouble with but always guard your hit points they matter more late game then early.
  • Have fun. End every game knowing you did your best and be ok with it. That being said don't stop looking for what you did wrong and how you can fix it. You learn more from failing then success.

That being said, add me to friend. If I'm on message me. I'm in tournaments this week and next but if I'm not in one ill be more than happy to help.

Check minimap during every reload (i mean reasonable reload, no T-34 one) - once every 5-10 secs.

Check minimap everytime new tank is spotted.

Have minimap enlarged to some decent size to see clearly things.

Have attack and escape plan.

Don't go alone.

Trade favorably.

Know strengths and weaknesses of your tank.

Have proper crew and equipment.

Good learning tanks:

T29 - hulldown, big alpha and long reload

KV-1 - sidescraping, heavy role

T-34-85, Comet - fast medium with good depression

Tiger 2, E75 - sidescraping in a box tank

Tiger 1 - low armor, high hp dpm.

paper TDs - support and staying invisible

FPS above 30 is manageable

Ping below 200 is also ok, but some players played with more with success
