Electronic Music Thread

Recommended Posts

Alright since at least 1 person is interested, here it is! I'm going to try and make the best use of spoilers to keep the page-loading times down to a minimum. I'll also be periodically updating this post, since I doubt I'll be able to do it all in one go. Also, I'll try and keep the songs as different from each other as possible, seeing as each genre has a bunch of sub-genres. If you like any particular song, I can usually recommend more of the same style.

House

Trance

Drum and Bass

Going to be adding more in the future (obviously). But this is a good starting point IMO :)

Monstercat is an absolute goldmine for good music, totally recommend their newest album, Contact. Also, I found these guys about a week ago - Feindflug, which has roughly the same meaning as 'sortie'. Don't let the footage and the clips they use fool you - they aren't Neo-Nazis, it's just their theme.

Always nice to have new industrial converts. Feindflug along with Laibach are probably two of the most well known industrial acts at the moment, with the added similarity of both being equally misunderstood for their World War II imagery.

If you like them should also give People's Republic of Europe and Legionarii a go. Legionarii especially are good at the moment with their latest album. Grand bombastic electronic orchestral goodness:

Speaking of industrial though loving some stuff out of the Dark. Descent. label recently, especially Starving Insect:

really enjoyed hau hau, astronomia, ah yeah, and mad dash, got any more kinda upbeat house tracks that have little elements of other genres in them?

Do you by chance have any trap? I have had a hankering for some good tracks.

Nah I don't really listen to trap. I have a couple of decent songs though. You probably know these, but I'll put them down just in case anyway:

Some stuff I have been listening to recently.

How you feel about Gouryella prostitution (using old name to get crowd going, but he pretty much failed with overproduced c/p track)?
