I learned a ton from him, and he has matched high skill with good teaching with prolific production for years. And naturally, this one really bad video negates the hundreds of other high quality teaching videos this guy has produced for the WOT community. He is trying to make a point by completely drawing the wrong conclusions. It's is not that XVM tricks you into WRONG numbers. On the contrary. He misses the point that you have to educate yourself to actually READ AND UNDERSTAND those stats. Yes, some unicorns in your team will give the overall win chance a huge push. GUESS WHAT! In 75% of the games at least the outcome of the battle will be exactly like promised because a platoon of 3 super competent players can win the battle very much by themselves! But beware of this example where everything goes wrong and OOOHH XVM is lying UNICORN FAIL! One way to missinforming the player base and incite useless rants against so called "arrogant purples". Their stats are deserved no doubt. The video does have a high probability of making reds think stats are luck and whatnot, and the guy making it could have stressed a little more that wasn't the case, but I don't think he himself means to claim that. Either way, both teams sucked ass minus the -G- platoon. It's not even the other team playing good, the -G- platoon just derped. Shit happens. They'd still rekt the other team the vast majority of the time. The other team literally just got lucky. You get your jimmies rustled because he titles the video "Faulty Unicorns" and talks about how you should try your best and ignore winchance because it often relies on the performance of a few players and some tomatos can yolo at the right time.
