Hey bb <3 lubulongtime.  I need to work on trying to do damage without losing hp.  I consistently see Decha continue to farm without taking any in return to use in end game.  I seem to have trouble with that and I've hit a wall at around 4k wn8

I am trying to three mark the Bat and although I am constantly around 93-94%, I just can't seem to be able to pass 95%. One thing I found out about my play is that I absolutely suck in matchups with lots of mediums and TDs. In my opinion this tank is generally bad against same tier mediums, so when the enemy team has at least 4-5 of them and almost the same amount of campy TD's, I tend to play passively, which results in poor damage output and a loss of percentage.

My question is how to avoid this? How to stay active in such games where your tank is kinda "useless"? Maybe @CarbonWard has some good advice as well. Thanks in advance!

In these games you gotta be patient though especially in a tank where a lot of damage (more than on others at least) relies on cleanup. I'm always really patient in these matchups and try to only go for safe openings to not fuck up my potential late game options. Sometimes you'll just end with low damage if one team gets rolled but you can't really do anything about it but go to the next one. It's still better than desperately trying to get something done in the early/mid game when there's still lots of firepower around and losing a lot of health or dying because you're the one to spot a Grille or you're going in and their meds gangbang you. Just lower your expectations in these battles, unless it's a really good map for you chances are you're barely gonna do your average even if there's no arty.

 

Had a nice battle in 50M today with 9k and 6 kills, rest was pretty cancer. You just cannot play T10 during this T92 top of the tree, it's suicide. For my next streams and sessions expect mainly T9 goldspam cause I cba getting yoloed/clicked in T10.

X3N4, I've been watching some of Straik's and Skylex's streams lately and they both use optics instead of vents, they also use food. I know you have said before that optics aren't as good because of the corridor nature of the maps, however, these two players prefer them still. What's your opinion on this?

My opinion on this is that Skylex doesn't give a fuck about crew skills and equipment, sometimes his choices are downright retarded. But it doesn't matter because in the grand scheme of things this kind of shit what people get so obsessed about, like if they have camo or recon on their commander or if they put vents or optics on his M46 doesn't matter jack shit compared to everything else. Do I think they both could optimise their damage a tad bit by fixing this? Yes I do. Does it REALLY matter if he averages 4330 or 4350 DPG on his M46? Not really because he does everything else in the actual battle right to even get him to these figures in the first place.

I'm kind of ranting about these things because if you guys actually want to get good you need to learn to prioritise on what matters and thinking overly much about crew and equipment choices is just a waste of time. Unless you're thinking of putting enhanced suspension and skipping rep on your crews but you guys don't fuck up with your choices like that because most of you asking this already got blue or better stats. That's my take on all these debates.

I totally understand that we are talking about nuances when it comes to certain crew skills and equipment and the bigger picture is really something else, and all too often players become obsessed with things that are really trivial for the most part instead of focusing on what's truly important. However, I'm also curious about the thought process of really good players such as yourself. I'm basically trying to learn from your (and other good player's) experiences. If there's something that can help me become a better player, then I want to know about it. Simple as that.

Today's the stream was the last time I've put up with the cancer that is this game. I'll probably be around here for a couple of months cause the community is awesome but as of today I played the last random I'll play on X3N4 account.
