Couple of things though: I'm not a dev, so please don't ask technical questions or questions about future contentI can't guarantee I'll be able to reply to every questionI'll only be able to reply about once a weekI especially won't be replying to any question dripping with passive aggressiveness comments, straight up angry comments or where you give closed options (for example "Are you going to admit arty is a fail or will you continue to mess up the balance of the game"). We've heard through various leaks and statements from RU devs that a certain NA player (probably Garbad) was infamous for his anti-arty crusade. For example the latest case of the violet stet pedder; Any implemented system to catch people can not compete with the complexity of the human mind and the way trolls behave. This changed a patch or two ago and I can't imagine why. As far as I know Garbad wasn't known to anyone in EU other than me. No idea about RU or what goes on there, all I will say about that is don't believe all you read on the internet, especially when the information is coming from an unverified anonymous source. Not really something I can answer I'm afraid. I can't really comment on support procedures much like anyone from support couldn't comment on how things are handled on the forums. No matter what you do there will always be people out to just wind up and troll others. Sadly in the past 5-6 years internet trolling has become much worse than it ever was and it's a generation thing I guess. Being anonymous on the internet with little fear of repercussion or seeing the impact of their actions = people being dicks. How much communication is there between the different server groups? There is a form of central leaderships but each regions are pretty much autonomous due to the different cultures and attitudes etc. EU is especially a melting pot/clash of opinions/views and desires. I stopped joining streams for 2 reasons. 1 - People stopped asking when I changed roles from Community Coordinator to Community Manager. No idea why that happened. I'm still happy to play with any contributor who asks (and gives me at least 24 hours notice). 2 - It was recently said to me that it felt like I was taking over the stream as players would bombard me with questions. That was a very fair point and one I felt bad about. Because of that if I join a stream now I won't watch chat. I'll let the host ask me any questions from their chat if they will. The host is also free to say "Ectar is here as a guest, please don't spam him with questions". I still lurk in a lot of chats when I'm not logged in. It's amazing how honest people are when they think you won't hear something. Since Feb this year I now stream on my personal channel outside of office hours - twitch.tv/murphy1up (shamless plug). The ones who just post nothing but complaints, hate and counterpoints to anything anyone says. There is some real Debbie Downers who seem to have no reason for being on the forums other than just to say how much they dislike a free to play game. I mean for me, I hate plenty of stuff in life. The last thing I'm going to do is remind myself constantly of it and tell people who like it, how much I dislike it. I don't understand people like that. - It's like walking into McDonalds each day just to tell the staff and patrons that you prefer Burger King instead. Ectar do you like Anime!? Yes, especially anything Mecha related. Gundam Seed, Seed Destiny, Patlabor, Eureka Seven. Macross Zero is one of the most beautifully presented shows I've watched, the veri-fighter duels are intense. I'm currently in the middle of rewatching FMA Brotherhood again and also catching up on season 2 of Aldnoah Zero. Looking forward to season 2 of Knights of Sidonia. I tend to wait till full seasons are out so I can watch them back to back. I can't handle waiting week to week but I can strangely handle going full turkey. I know this is always controversial but I hate Code Geass. I though the Lelouch was an asshole and I only watched it to know if he died and how. I like the Wotlabs community for it's honesty. I always try to be as honest as I can when I talk about stuff. Sometimes in my job I can't be honest which is why I'll either say I don't know, or won't give my opinion. When you work for a games company in a visible customer facing role, you're always attached to the company. It's a hard thing for people to learn that they can no longer say and do as they please. Some learn the hard way, others you're just waiting for the fall. I've had my ups and downs and in whatever I do, I want our players to know at the end of the day I'm just a gamer like everyone else. The stuff that bothers you in-game bothers me. The difference is I'm the guy trying to present your side of things to the company, whilst at the same time trying to present their side of things to you.
