Flametz 453 Share Posted April 20, 2015 As this thread morphed into a general-patch discussion, will be putting original 0.3.1 OP under spoilers. From: http://blog.worldofwarships.ru/0-3-1-byulleten-razrabotki/ IJN CVs, Hosho, Zuiho, Ryujo, Hiryu, Zuikaku, Taiho and Hakuryu. AND USN BBs, which will include Michigan, Arkansas, New York, New Mexico, Colorado, North Carolina, Iowa and Montana. High-level cruisers. As an experiment Ibuki, Senjo, Baltimore and Des Moines get activated ability "Rehabilitation work", which was previously available only battleships. Kitakami - wonderful, but extremely fragile ship - got their hands on the smoke machine. We hope that the opportunity to put a smokescreen to make this unusual gameplay more comfortable cruiser and diverse. And he's not the only representative of the Imperial Japanese Navy, which has evolved, we have increased rate of guns CC battleship Yamato, swapped Mogami and Myoko, Senjo points added combat capability and rate (by the way, it will now be called Zao). Against the background of all sorts of changes in the East, it should be noted little innovation in the West: the cruiser Baltimore will delight their commanders increased rate rip Mogami 155 spam, 2014-2015. Also, probably a result of google translate derping but "rehab work" is the repair skill on BBs that heal dmg done by "light damage" and "moderate damage" shells.

Flametz 453 Author Share Posted April 20, 2015 It looks great, not sure about the shell changes but I'm happy to see everything else For those that aren't aware of what the above is referencing: Shells. Update 0.3.0 markedly shifted the balance between high-explosive and armor-piercing projectiles towards the latter. We would like to see both types of ammunition as equivalent weapons that should be used wisely depending on the situation, and spent some rebalancing. "Kinetic" Done with armor-piercing projectiles bounce and no penetration is fully retracted. In addition, the effect was enhanced speed loss BB-shells in the water. Threshold cocking BB projectile was increased: now when firing at targets lightly armored high-explosive shells will be more effective because they do not have the effect of through-penetration. Overall damage RP-shells was increased. However, "splash" fragments will now only lead to damage to the modules without reducing points of combat power. We hope that these changes will have a positive impact on a variety of gameplay on the gunship. Is the Aim mod still allowed ? As of right now, yes.

Flametz 453 Author Share Posted April 20, 2015 No interest for the USS Michigan? Back then when it was a T2 it was quite literally a demon-spawn combo of a H35 and T18 in ship form. 305mm cannons @ T2 with dat armor = RIP. Also, muh Turkey.
Rexxie 10,789 Share Posted April 20, 2015 Didnt they have a part where they said almost all mods will stop working next update until they find a way to make it so the kinds of mods that adversely influence the game are not simple to make? Pretty sure it'll break the aimbot.

Pretty sure it'll break the aimbot. WG already does that in WoT That aside, maybe... however they really seem to underestimate the determination of the modding community. Flametz 453 Author Share Posted April 21, 2015 Did the patch not drop? No, these are preliminary notes (like test server notes, with the test server being supertest). Also, the mod restriction is apparently an encryption script... Nkrlz 54 Share Posted April 21, 2015 So rip the mod scene for WoWs. Well, another nail in the coffin. I mean i'm against the aim mod as much as the next guy but needing to ask WG for permission sounds like a fucking kick to the nuts to the scene. Or an automatic proliferation of warpacks. Oh how sad, someone might not be able to make XVM for warships and your asime skins will break. Have all my mournings. These all look like good changes. My guess is that they'll tune the mod support later in favour of getting the community on side (fairly legit, given how pissy everyone is over what is a fairly borderline mod). I like the shell change mod, maybe cruisers won't get instawrecked so often. CandyVanMan, KFAJ, Spec and 2 others
Nkrlz 54 Share Posted April 21, 2015 I have no skins whatsoever, but yeah xvm would be the only reason i would play really. What's the fuking poin of an online game without an overaching goal. W/R doesn't count due to platoons, and any sort of "personal rating" from WG is completly untrusworthy becasue we don't see the formula behind it.The lack of mods such a fucking good idea. Let this piece of crap rot with WoWP. User, Griphos, Storm and 9 others
