EvilMonkee 15 Share Posted May 5, 2015 Hello, my name is EvilMonkee, and I am a recovering Tomato A little bit of background. I started playing WoT literally years ago, never got past Tier 7 in my Jagd Panther, got atrociously bored of the grind and gave up. I failed to understand even the most basic of concepts related to the game, thought 40% WR was decent and had never heard of WN8. Having returned to the game and played it a lot more over the last month I am determined to improve and hence find myself lurking here. I now get frustrated by artillery, gold spammers and idiots going Valley, I guess my conversion is almost complete…….
Constie 1,350 Share Posted May 5, 2015 Hey and welcome to WotLabs! You will probably learn a lot here and don't hesitate to ask questions, or to roam the forums for some useful threads. At 3500 Battles theres a lot of room upwards in improving, in which i wish you the best luck. Also if you are interested you can always join the ingame channel WotLabs, where you can find people at the same level as you are to platoon up. Also i would recommend you this And yes, Arty is cancer and Gold ammo is sometimes annoying but you have to get used to that :^)
jimjim975 168 Share Posted May 5, 2015 Welcome to the forums! I was around where you are now at 3500 games, but I started trying to improve. A word of advice, if you want to raise your wn8 a lot, I would advise not playing TD's (They ruined my wn8 and winr8.) o7
EvilMonkee 15 Author Share Posted May 5, 2015 I am in a T62A as my first Tier X and enjoy it immensely if not having an astounding WR. I am finding Tier X hard to adjust to. I am a complete master of my Ke Ho and Chi Ha though!! If only there was a Tier X that had no armour and a really fast reloading high pen gun....
gingxxx 145 Share Posted May 5, 2015 All higher tiers are difficult to begin with. You will face much more experienced players. Even when they are not that good, they are good enough to lower your WR significantly. I made that mistake by myself. It is better to practise more in tier VI-VIII and with support of better players. Try the wotlabs ingame channel to find platoons. Good luck and welcome!

quentincf 49 Share Posted May 6, 2015 Welcome, good luck. Also, never blame other players for your failure. The best players in this game will likely complain about gold spam or noob zerg rushes, but they will never say they are not as good because of it. Learn to react and take advantage of every situation. Hope to see you succeed out on the battle field!
