FCM 50T loosing prem MM (Spersh too)

Rita's blog claims the FCM and Spersh lost premium mm on the 9,9 test server. Any info on that? Wouldn't they have to rebalance a ton of limited mm tanks? Also it would make no sense to buy it outside for crew training

Hello warriors, it seems that in 9.9 the popular French premium vehicle FCM 50T lost its premium matchmaking and can now meet tier 10 vehicles. This is confirmed: According to unconfirmed news, the Super Pershing lost its premium MM as well. Not a good change.

I think its either a bug, just for testing purposes, photoshop or some shit. Spershing can't handle Tier 10 and neither can the 50T as it has no armor at all. They would have to buff the hell out of them if they did change the MM.

I dont think they could pull of a change like that without some serious backlash. Many people (myself included) bought the tanks on the basis that they had limited matchmaking. They would have to offer a money-back option (as they have already done with the Sperhing once) or be the subject of a lot of annoyance from the community.

But if it goes through, then I will not see myself playing the FCM 50t anymore as the CDC is then just straight up better. But we will see what happens. It could be a mistake or for testing purposes.

I would say FCM can't either as it has no armor at all. 

FCM has better mobility and armor than some tier 8 meds with normal MM (see: STA-1).

The big problem is that pref MM was a huge selling point for these tanks and removing pref MM would be a major nerf to some premium tanks bought with real money, something that WG has been trying to avoid lately. I really hope it's a mistake on WG's part.

Well yeah, there's a good reason why the CDC is quickly becoming my most-played tank, it's awesome. But pref MM has a lot of value too, and it's a deal-maker for some players who want to carry more often and not face tier 10s.

Honestly if they do this and offer no refunds I am going to be really pissed. Ever since I ot the CDC I haven't played my FCM anymore and the only reason why I would ever do so again is pref MM.
SuperP is another story as I have really started to like its ability to not give a fuck and simply push.
That said I could really use the gold of a refund from the SuperP and the FCM to free XP the T110E3...

It's probably just a mistake/for testing. They wouldn't do this, WG pisses their pants at the thought of upsetting customers. Just making the spershing's armor weaker (even when they gave other buffs to it to compensate) prompted them to refund everyone who wanted to sell it the full gold price. I have no reason to believe they'd do this, and if they did they certainly would give out those refunds.

To be honest, I wouldn't mind getting a gold refund of the FCM, it's not a tank I particularly enjoy enjoy anymore, but even with a full refund, I really can't see this as something WG would even like to think about doing, the backlash would be immense to say the least.

Calm down your tits, i was playing CT today and there is just not enough people online so the MM system fills 15 tanks regardless of their tier. IS-6 was also seen in T10

Good point. I have decided to close this thread as this is a perfectly normal explanation for what Rita jumped to conclusions about. I will re-open it if it is really the case of them losing their limited matchmaking.
