Good day all, ladies and geneticmans!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the world class Bovington Tank museum. I appreciate not everyone is an hour or two drive from such majesty, so I threw together an album with my pictures for y'all to enjoy. I took 251 pictures, so I'm not linking them all manually, you get a gallery :)

Notable highlights were the evolution of tank warfare exhibit,

Also sexy sexy King Tiger <3

Here's gallery number 1!

Gallery 2

Gallery 2 coming soon.

Enjoy!

Bovington is an amazing museum of armoured warfare, the amount of tanks on dispplay in outstanding and they still have loads more in storage.  I took my son there two years ago and it was just like looking through my Airfix model collection I had as a boy.

Gallery 2 is up!

Lot more modern tanks in this, plus classics like the Panther.

You took almost the exact same picture as me of the Centurion when I went a few years ago.

Is the Centurion overlooking the entrance that's in my profile pic still their? Looks like they've moved stuff around a bit since 3 years ago. I see that Conqueror is still a pain to get a good picture of with the giant window behind it messing up the lighting.

There's a Challenger and Chieftain outside, no Centurions.

I may have missed it though, as it looks gloriously perched on hill. I only noticed a T55 and Chally on the drive in and Chieftain towering over the main entrance doors.

Ah they've probably moved it then, no way you would miss it. It's the first thing you can see from the main road driving into the Museum, you could see it on the main road pretty far off.

They didn't have the Chieftain or the T-55 outside when I went. The Challenger was by the front door though still, don't think they ever move that.
