Swap the optics for GLD or Vents to control that goddamn gun. Most of the time when you're playing the IS-7, you're going to be near the front, and you won't need the optics. Good luck!

I will do it when equipment come on discount :)
Thank you :)

Good Luck.

Given that you have already played the game at 2160 dpg over 220 games, is 2250 dpg perhaps too low for the challenge?  Do you not expect this to go better once you start taking it super cereal?

Yeah man good luck, I might have to try that. I've always found that loading my is7 full of APCR it's one of the biggest "fuck you" tanks out there. But I agree with weesh. You should try to aim your sights higher. Cause you don't want to get into it, and in 30 battles have already achieved your goal. I won't try to make assumptions about what a good goal for you is, but I would say make yourself work to get it.

Optics are absolutely incredible on the IS-7, I use rammer vert optics, and I run food with no med kit. The tank can hull down and lock down an entire flank with incredible vision control. vents and GLD don't offer you that kind of power. I often require my IS-7 players to use optics in clan wars because it allows me to be heavy and not blind, it translates to pubs as well, you're the heaviest scout on the battlefield.

2400/56% shouldn't be too hard of a goal to achieve for you, while still presenting a nice challenge.

I also run Optics, because the aim time is basically irrelevant if you play right; if you consistently try to snapshot beyond point-blank, you're doing it wrong.

I'd highly recommend you bring at least 10 APCR, fighting tanks like the E-100 or T110E3 frontally without it is a nightmare. Good luck.

Carrying 20/9/1 for this challenge ;)

I am not quite sure at my capabilities with the IS-7, will have to see how it will work out ;). I do expect it to go better when I become super cereal, but with 2.1k recent wn8, I cannot expect over 2.3k dpg with any non-autoloading tier 10 so far.

Thank you man ;) Even if I pass the "Goal", I will just strive for most dpg I can get out of it and for higher winrate :D

Since on EU most people dont bother to do vision work, and I am scout tank player in my soul and I always try to abuse viewrange when I can.

We will see about dpg I can pull off ;) Optics, as I mentioned above, are nice for hulldown peek-a-boo and for vision control ;) I played trough entire line without GLD/Vents, used toolbox due to insanely aggressive play and ghetto crews, and it is absolutely right ;)

Thx all for "good luck", I will do my best
:disco:

Keep optics!
The gun is pretty easy to use once you figure it out.

With the hopeful thought of there being a crew retraining sale this weekend, Thinking of doing this:

retrain CO for Jack of All trades
Drop Medpack
Run Food, Large Rep, Auto
Drop Vents for Optics

Crew is 80%+ on its 4th skill

I'm going to have to disagree with you and go with Kewei on this one.

The driver dies frequently to lower glacis hits (they happen), and the last thing you need is for the IS-7's terrain resistance to be 50%-driver levels of bad.

On the other hand, unless you get hit by a 155mm gun to the rear, chances are very low that you'll light on fire, so it makes more sense to retrain your driver to Preventative Maintenance and skip the fire extinguisher, running a small medkit, large repair kit, and food.
