The stats aren't that dissimilar to the Amagi actually, although I think the Amagi has better AA and obviously a heavier broadside weight.

If they've got any common sense at all, the Bismarck will be the premmie because of the lore around it.  People will pay real money to own one; I don't think the same can necessarily be said for the Tirpitz.

Bismarck icon is clean and Tirpitz icon is camo'd up, which suggests Tirpitz is the premium. That makes more sense than the reverse given WG's long standing (and in my opinion, well informed) policy of keeping iconic tanks/planes/whatever in the tree instead of making them premium.

I thought the Tirpitz was the heavier armored of the 2 ships? So if it is a premium it would be pretty tough to kill, maybe even more so than the Bismarck.

different style shells and explosive fillers.  Bismarck's shells were designed to be light and high velocity.

I'm just waiting for them to sync gold across the two games.  I've got tens of thousands of gold in tanks and nothing to spend it on, and I hate to spend RL cash on ships when I know they're going to link my free gold to it at some point.

I can safely say it will get its ass kicked by carriers.

The Bismarck can't even shoot down a single torpedo bomber from an attack off a Hiryuu (enemy CV was on enemy team, i just browsed over waiting for fighters to resupply and watched one get wiped out by the 3 TB + 3 DB.) rip.

The fact that quickybaby gave a Tirpitz away on stream today at Gamescon (to be given when it comes out) suggests that at the very least the Tirpitz will be premium. 

Apparently it has torps and the range looks decent.

Can't wait for details of it to come out
