GTX 980 Ti if you can snag one. A 4K monitor would also be nice to sperg on.

980 Ti is not bad at all. Not sure 4k monitor is the way to go though. Never have been a fan of the price per performance.

Then again I love my 970's in sli with the 3 22" SCEPTRE monitors I run. (Never have had any issues with sli and WOT runs as smoothly as it can...damn Russian developers)

If you really have a budget of 2K$ then it would be best for you to just build a new PC IMO.Srsly with 2K you can build a DANK computer

Here's one I made for ya.You don't have to follow this EXACTLY(I didn't pick a CPU cooler or case because that's just upto personal preference)

Yeah, thing is he doesn't need a new computer.

It would be one thing if he was playing on an 8-year-old toaster, but most of his components are still perfectly fine, so replacing his processor, motherboard, and RAM at this point would just be throwing good money after bad.  His best route at this point is just to make targeted upgrades as needed to improve the areas he wants.

How do you run 3 monitors on 2 cards?  2 on one 1 on the other?  Or do you have a splitter of some kind?

And does the maker of the video card matter?  I have EVGA cards now, but does it matter who makes it?

? Cards do not have just one port for connecting to a monitor.

They make splitters, but current-generation cards have four or five video outputs.  SLI would make the two cards essentially function as one, so you'd just plug all your screens into the top one and the driver takes it from there.

So you use the DVI(2) and the HDMI port at the same time?  My 660 card has the same port setup but I can only use the DVI or the HDMI ports, not both at the same time

Also,

What's the difference and do I have to mount it "vertical" or can it lay flat?

Those are M.2 SSDs. You need SATA 2.5" SSDs:

The card is capable of output all the outputs or some, in SLI config it doesn't matter. (Normally)

So yes, it can run mutiple outputs at the same time.

Those are two different types of SSD, one is a normal SATA SSD and the other is M.2 SSD which requires a PCIe card adaptor.

I would recommend that you only get the SATA SSD has the M.2 SSD might be to much hassle for you.

The M.2 SSD advert lies. The image for the box says M.2 on it.:disco:

The first one on the list is a M.2, the second is an actually SATA. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147361
