display issues with Windows 10

Recommended Posts

I have two monitors with the main one being a spare 27" lcd tv.  Now the picture on it wasn't perfect in Windows 7 - text wasn't really sharp, but it was fine for game play.  But since I upgraded my old Windows 7 computer to 10, the display on the tv is pretty awful.  Fonts are washed out and grainy.  WoT looks either too dark or stretched and the fonts are hard to read and the colors look like they're bleeding.  Does anyone know of any fixes or resources for correcting this?  I spent hours trying to configure it properly and now I'm getting to the point where I might just roll back to Windows 7.

Are you using VGA or HDMI? When I was using a 24" TV as a secondary screen, over HDMI it was always blurry, but on VGA it was pretty crisp.

Really?  That's weird, I'd expect the opposite.  I'll have to check when I get home, but I think it's hdmi.
