The only reason I didn't keep it is that the armour is terribad and the gun arcs don't allow you to angle easily. It's fearsome in ranked though when you can better control your exposure.

It abuses pubbies really easily in randoms. Sunk an Atago and Atlanta last night and nearly a Mikhail and fought off a Tirpitz. All while stock! I like this ship a lot.

Fuso is great in randoms (haven't tried the Ranked battles so far), one of the best ship to annihilate cruisers (especially the German ones) with one salvo.

How did em' Japanese get colored photography? They make their heavy's which weigh over 100 tons go 30 kph, and now this? God damn it Japan!

The Kawachi (COW) may be the worst ship in the game. All of us IJN BB captains have suffered thru it. It is a right of passage. Myoko is also a challenge. But then there is the Kongo, Fuso, etc. They are worth the wait.

Also, Myoko is a great ship. Not sure why people think it's a difficult section unless they got used to Aoba's brawling/high RoF capability.

I skipped the Kawachi, remembering how shit it was in beta, the Myogi I'm on the fence. Fewer guns means more chances to have RNG ram the broomstick up, but the high speed, good pen, and since beta it got some AA, and now it can be an enjoyable ship.

I skipped the Kawachi after a truly hideous game. The guns, good GOD those guns. Literally the most hideously awful things I've tried to use. I knew my targeting was on because when 3 shots land just infront and 3 shots land just behind, just RNG decided to nope me. Effective range to hit anything must have been sub-4km. Awful. I fired at a DD under 5km from me and two shots landed in the middle but just infront, and the remaining shots just as close but on the other damn side. Ugh.

Myohi has promise. Guns seem accurate, though they suffer from my usual frustration of slow RoF and RNG, making it hella difficult to rack up decent damage. It seems more shots land infront/behind or hit for no damage than ever do damage.

But dat speed & range. Yum.

I sold the Kawachi after I had one good battle in it (5 kills, ~90k damage), wasn't worth the usual experience. It's too big, slow and short ranged to dictate engagements well enough in my opinion, and it was especially bad facing Tier Vs before the MM was adjusted. Around islands and straits it can do well enough against low tier CAs and BBs when you can dictate exposure, but otherwise it blows goats.

The Myogi can be a sweetheart IMO. The armament arrangement and RNG isn't great, but the speed, range, and firing angles are decent. You can engage lower tier BBs outside or at their max range while still being close enough that you won't get totally screwed by RNG, close with and dispatch lower tier CAs easily enough, and make DDs job difficult when they try to engage you. That said, I'll probably get rid of it as soon as I have the Kongou in port.

Anecdotally, the only ramming kill I have so far is when for shits & giggles I ran down a lonely crippled Clemson in the Myogi.

One time in my Myogi I rammed an enemy New York who was at about 80% health and I was at 10% health and on fire. He seemed surprised that impact was enough to kill him. ;)

Back to subject, Fuso is pretty awesome but I prefer the New Mexico because has that "fuck-you" armor that's capable of even bouncing 16" shells. I did equally good in both ships and I grinded them at the same time, but I ended up keeping the NM in the end. I will say the Fuso is noticeably weaker and it loses turrets pretty easily but since it has so many turrets it allows for easier handling of cruisers and destroyers because I would fire one turret at a time and change my aim several times to catch them while their trying to evade my shells. Its not a brawler like the NM, more of a support BB, I found 12-15klm to be a good range for the guns also

Its ancillary armour is too thin to bounce 16" shells. They overmatch and deal penetration damage. Angling standards are great sport in my Nagato and Amagi because I can just smash the bow in. Your best bet when facing big gun ships is to angle at 45 degrees because hitting the bow causes more over penetrations.

Fuso is solid. Love the firepower upgrade over Kongo, but man, you have to grind forever to be able to shoot over 12km.  They literally make the gun range the LAST thing you can upgrade and give it a whopping 8.5km upgrade. WG, why you do this?

      Fuck the FV4202. The tank lacks the firepower to do anything if your team sucks. It cant even farm on them dying. How the hell people 3 mark this? 4k dmg games are uber rare and its super easy to end up with 1k combined if the gun trolls you and your team folds... FFS

      1 battle, 1 Ace tanker. Has insane armour, is fast as a medium, has no weakspots frontally from what I can tell, has insane gun handling. WTF WG?!

      Funnily enough. It is propably one of the most realistic premium tanks or tanks in general we got in a long time. Despide being from an Anime.

      Been struggling with tier 10 since coming back - jesus christ this is awful. If you don't play something OP you feel like a tier 9 in a tier 10 game. 
      Got an account with a 0 game FV215b that I marked (69 games, just barely 4k dpg lmao) - wound up running the equipment piece that prevents fires and the same directive after the same amount of fires as amount of games in a 10 game session (got lit 3 times in one game...) but after that I never got set on fire again. Totally worth putting those up and giving up vents so you can actually use the HP without a fuel tank fire. Been noticing that a lot of casemate TDs are running new equipment as well (7.5s was pretty much enough RLD to permatrack anything until it dies and it is not anymore. It's closer to 6, so I'm assuming it's the equipment since it also varies heavily.)
       
      907 yoloing with optics+directive is sort of working, I'm keeping 85 but getting good enough of a session without a derp to fall back down after climbing up is so rare with how common the absolutely worst maps are. I have played 8 times the amount of Erlenberg as I have Prokh (assault and encounter enabled), I also get a lot of Kharkov and Abbey that keep showing up too and these maps are just too poorly designed to get a good enough gameplan to fulfill the damage requirements. There's just no play that works well enough. 
       
      I tried tier 8 as well, and it's like a different game played on the same board. You get away with so much stupid shit because of gaps in view range and the overall skill level. It makes me feel like my mechanics are super clean as I can poke in to tanks pre aimed at me and fire, pull into safety/unpennable angle before they fire - but at tier 10 that is just wishful thinking. 
       
      Long way to go, I hate being this derpy in game quality which is what I'm going to work on but tier 10 is so ass..
