looking for t10 clanwars, clan league preferably but not necessary, lots of strongholds t8 some t6 and t10 as much as possible, good enough to win t8 stronks with less than desirable comps meaning that we can bring pretty much whatever tank we want and still win most of our games.  http://wotlabs.net/na/player/thunderxballs

As of now, our strongholds are slow as of now, due to the rebuild process, but we should be able to have more running as we get back to what can be considered "normal".

and you compare his tier 10 stats to his actual stats and there is a huge difference

Well, I'll be honest, from what I've experienced of him through my short campaign time in PBKAC;

  • In thunder's favor, he is a good lad playing tanks for fun.
  • But... He literally can't listen to calls at all, and will throw like it is unbelievable. Like seriously, I'd rather have gone with 14 tanks.

So thunder, work on that, and you'll probably become a suitable guy for a top 20 clan. Otherwise, I suggest you aim for a platoon clan. I've nothing against you man, but it's one hell of a huge liability.

TLDR: good guy, but can't teamplay at all (as far as I've seen). Invite if you are a platoon clan. Invite at your own risk if you play any kind of competitive stuff.

Well i heard from a good friend that he was an ass when he tooned with him. Thunder would blame him for everything when he died and when i spoke to him he seemed a little up himself.

Well, he wasn't an ass to me, but I sure did not want to platoon with him as soon as I saw him play in CW, and talk so much in CW even when told to shut the hell up. So, what I told was based upon his attitude during the campaign: he understood no one wanted him in a fight, and that we would just get him his 15 battles to get him the tank. So he did his battles, and farmed a fair amount of boxes (and thus influence) to allow us to get the tank. On that side, he was a decent guy. As for what he does in a platoon: no idea, never invited him to join mine.

Yeah he seemed ok to talk to but he thought very highly of himself and thought he deserved better than being in pbkac at the time which i didnt like about him. But i dont have much experience with him

Well, as a general rule, I don't like people who trash-talk their previous clans, like literally, if the clan was that terrible, you were kind of stupid to stay there that long or not trying to improve said clan.

Example, me:

  1. BSK: was a 700 wn7 player, but that clan told me what losing is, and made me realize I needed to work on my tanking abilities.
  2. QC_A: brought me to learn how to work as an officer, learning how recruitment process were dealt, and how to manage chip movements, and some basis of calling.
  3. TYR: first real decent clan, thought me some finer game mechanics, and allowed me to refine my calling, and more specifically my flank calling, quite a lot.
  4. FOXEY: did not taught me much, but allowed me to encounter some nice fellows, shame I got burned out and left them.
  5. PINGU: allowed me to play with people way above my recent level, because I somehow knew how to manage a clan from previous experience. Got me to master finer details of officer task as a top 10 clan. Introduced me to meta-changing comp (learning to foresee what the next meta will be, instead of being a peon following what everyone else was doing at that moment).
  6. PBKAC: not gonna lie, went in for the campaign tank, got out. Got the campaign tank for myself, and for others, met a few good people.
  7. _FAM_: well, I just got in tonight... Lots of ex-foxey shitters acquaintances. :happyfish:

So basically, there is always something to get from a clan, whether it is something negative you have to work on, or something positive that you integrated.

So, seeing someone trash-talk a clan he is currently in (unless on a spout of rage), or saying the clan is not worthy of him, is kind of indications that the guy is either a dick, or an idiot for not doing something about it.

Anyway, that's my personal opinion, and we are starting to derail this LFC thread.

ok after reading this, i have to say, im absolute shit at communicating properly clearly, lets see if i can organize this.

1. the padding, i was told that the only thing i needed to do was get my recent up, so i took the fastest route, i also played a fair bit of batchat and is-7 (2 marked the is-7) but clearly since it was my first 10 the stats still appear to be trash,

2. it wasnt that i couldnt listen to calls as much as i was burnt out having no sleep participating in the campaign almost every day (i think i missed 1 or 2 days) from 6pm-12pm or later so sorry i was tired and at times zoned out missing the calls entirely and having to wake up early for school as well leaving me quite drained and sleep deprived.

3. I really am upset at myself because i really hope i didnt blame my toonmate for everything and i have a hard time balancing confidence with arrogance (its something im trying to get better at).  Though it would not surprise me if i did part of my ocpd is that it is really hard for me to accept blame but again i know at heart whose fault it usually is (mine).  back months ago when i was in 2harm i would try to toon with the harm guys and when i did i would always say "you're in harm im in 2harm so u must be better than me so plz call me out on all the stupid shit i do"  and even today i do not think im an amazing player i think i have a good understanding of the game but i have a lot to work on when it comes to decision making and doing so quickly, and i try to toon with ppl better than me in hopes of learning from them and if possible coaching but that usually doesnt happen.

4. It was not that i thought i was too good for pbkac it was that i couldnt stand it there (socially) but at the time was my only option to get the tank.  It felt pretty obvious that no one liked me (personally) and that they wanted to kick me but i didnt do anything kick worthy, so i tried (emphasis on tried as i probably failed miserably) to keep my head down and find a new clan that i would be a good fit (socially) in.  and again i was trying to appear confident because i assumed that saying im terrible etc would not make a good sales pitch, but i clearly am bad at appearing confident and humble at the same time (advice would be appreciated).

I hope this post can clear some things up and hopefully you can help me improve with good feedback.  thank you someone needed to point this stuff out to me, i dont want to have this image as an arrogant selfish ass, im really trying not to be but i struggle always have and probably always will.

Black is being a bit harsh as far as teamplay goes.  I'm not denying he's padded pretty hard or that he was a bad fit socially (seriously, the kid will talk your ear off), but I lost count of the times he came to me to ask about improving his teamplay or some other aspect of his game.  He may be a bit abrasive to some people personality-wise, but you're not going to find someone more active or that more sincerely wants to get better.  YMMV on whether he actually succeeds at getting better.

I'm always a tad harsh, because I cut the fuzz, and go straight to the point.
