Struggling with the SU 122 44

I'm still thinking Rammer/Vents/Binocs. Optics was my old loadout, but I don't think you can be as aggressive as you used to with this. It would still work if you can't help yourself, though. Really you just want enough VR that T6/7 heavies can take an aimed 122 to the face while youre still out of view range.

Not sold on IAU personally. Its only 0.02 accuracy even in the firepower slot. They're kind of just vents that only apply to your gunner. I wouldn't want to give up 85m view range or 350dpm for that.

Yeah, with the new data I'm seeing on IAU, I would probably favor IRM/Rammer/Vents if you want to go full FACEAGGRO, or Rammer/GLD/Binocs or Rammer/GLD/Vents for a more standoff setup.

Finished my 122-44 3-mark this morning at ~2300 combined. I ended up with IAU/GLD/Rammer + Food, with IAU in the bonus slot. I like it, but that's mostly because once or twice a session you get a match that reminds you of what the 122-44 used to be, an aggressive assault td like the WZ-120-1G. Nowadays the MM and gameflow has to be extremely kind to you for that to work out.

With that said I'd take this any day over the majority of T7 TDs. It still has absolutely bonkers damage output along with real mobility and 150mm armor. If it had -7 gun depression it would be my absolute favorite T7 TD, but right now I think you can get more done with a T25-2/SU-152/AT-15A and, obviously, the E-25.

I'd have thought the 122 44 would be better than all of the other listed tanks...

I'm missing something, so I'm coming up with some uncommon opinions, please don't hesitate to tell me.
