MT-15 for the 55a... can't find a good tier to try and accomplish it.

So I've been trying this dumb MT-15 for a good while now and after a near hundred matches its still unobtainable. 

I've been trying with the crommie B and having a friend in a E-25 so I'm guaranteed in a higher tier match but the crommie's gun handling is just not working out well. 

To those who have accomplished it, what did you do?

T20 and Obj. 416 seem like good candidates, both have above average alpha for its tier and obscene gold ammo.

I completed it in the Crom once (w/o honors), now I'm working on it with the Skoda T25/Rudy/my various other non T10 meds since I'm only the one commendation from the T55a.

Skoda T50 would be great.  So would the Lorr 40t.  Good mobility and nice clip for jumping on those kills you need

However, I think I did this one in a CDC or AMX 30.

The cromB was great for the first two MT15s but the one tier higher with damage requirement, I used the T20. I did mine with the T20 repetedly(only have a 2 skill crew).  the horrid match making for Tier 7 being able to see JTs and Ferdinands really helps. It took me a few tries to get it with honors (kept doing it and not getting the secondary, either I could damage farm but not survive, or team would utterly collapse). I found getting into T9 is what let me do it consistently(only need to kill steal one and isolate one big TD to finish). Being able to circle behind a JT/Ferdi or permatrack them let me get it done. The 240 alpha helps knock tracks off nicely so you can get behind which helped me. Good luck!

Edit: Also, something that just occurred to me, NA has been rotating "theme weeks" which should help increase your chances with a target rich environment when "TD week" comes back around.

I did it in my E50. Spam gold generously, and you can tank on both heavies, tds, and meds alike.

Best tds to kill are 183 in their reloads.

Which would be best Per tier though? I havent played either tank so I don't know how they work being not top tier.

My mates have been telling me to be patient and wait for TD week. but I just want to get it done lol

I'd say 416 is better tier for tier. It has better than average DPM AND ALPHA along with 330 HEAT penetration. However one can argue it isn't flexible as other MTs(it plays more like pseudo TD).

My line of thinking has been using the T20, just for the fact that more of the popular TD's are tier 8 and you are 2 tiers down when running tier 6. I have completed the mission at least 5 times without Honors, but I just can't seem to get it to all come together at once, and just missing a kill shot on the last TD by not loading 2 seconds quicker is very frustrating to say the least.

416 is the prime candidate for this really. Dat HEAT can just wreck any JP100 and other cancer TDs.

Dat gun, camo and the platform the gun is on makes it just frickin superb.

Marine in his recommendations for all Missions recommends it when doing MT-15
so you cannot be utterly wrong.
You simply have had some bad luck/performance juust not good enough.
Put the mission on but try to play as normal as possible.
These missions gets to you and can easily make you frustrated.
It could have been worse. T20 is a lot of fun to play, so is the Cromwell at tier 6, another viable candidate

lel did it in my M46 Patton, without honours though cos i'm 2 bad and i died, trying it again in the 416

on EU it's Jagdpanzer E100's Top of the Tree, so there are a shit ton of tds around, any MT will just do the trick actually

Did it in  CDC, parked behind a JpZ E100 and ass raped him then got lucky and found a 1 shot T30. 3800 damage and 4 kills if I remember.

I´d say tier7+ is the way to go here as the honors of 2000 damage is a chore in a tier6 tank. I was also thinking of trying this mission since on EU JpzE100 is top of the tree.. but Jagdtiger is too much of a juggernautical fun at the moment.

T20 is the best T8 tank that gets kill a higher tier tank missions for killing same tier tanks  

Not to mention T8 TDs are still soft while at T9 their armour start to matter

Yeah, today is the start of TD week and JT88 rentals will mean that they will be everywhere.  This is the week to get this mission done.  A tier 7 medium would probably be optimal for getting games with lots of JT88's running around.  I still have to do the damn Incinerator mission before I can do MT15.

I have a 260 and I used the 416 for missions where you had to kill x number of a tank class 1 or 2 tiers higher.  It's very easy to take out higher tiers with it's camo and heat pen.

I don't know if you are being sarcastic or not, but just FYI, it's not rigging to have a teammate do whatever to help you get a mission. It however is rigging to have an enemy help you.

Otherwise, it would be chaos. For example:

- Cap mission: having a teammate sit on cap with you would be rigging

- Kill mission: having a teammate hold off on kill shot so you get it would be rigging

- Spot mission: having a teammate sit back and let you spot would be rigging

There is actually a thread that covers this, but fwiw I'd say T20. I did it once without and once with honours in it, and a few more close calls.

The tier 6 HP pool IMHO is too small to consistently pull 2k, and in general the lower tier you can use the better off you are. Getting +2 MM gives more options and the gold pen is more than enough to pen anything. Very comfortable tank, and the lower tier means you get more shitters/noobs to abuse.
