Anybody having issues with 9.15?

I can only run the client in safe mode.  I tried deleting everything out of >res_mods and >res_mods>9.15, plus erasing my game cache, but it still didn't work.  Game crashes immediately as soon as it gets through the launcher to the actual game client; it does this even if I bypass the launcher.

No idea what the next step is.

Urgh.  No, was saving that for a last resort given how long installing takes.  If nobody has any other suggestions, that might have to be my next move.

Although if that's truly necessary, I'm still stumped why it will play properly in safe mode.

Yeah, that's the game cache.  Already sent that to the wastebasket.  Still having the issue.

I have all the Sela stuff and BA installed.  The Micropatch today didn't appear to effect anything.

My teams have been terrible!!!!  I'm done for the day.

Something (micropatch) removed 3 tanks from my garage.  I think they were the Dom Rentals...

I can run and play fine, but I am loading in super slow, like 8-10 seconds left on countdown when I used to be one in before it started.  Not a deal breaker, but still suxor for looking at comp and planning, or if a toonmate is pinging map.

You can try verifying the integrity of your files or whatever you call that.

Make a shortcut of WoTLauncher, go to it's Properties, add quotation marks to the ends, and add -integrity outside of it.

It should look like: "D:\Games\World_of_Tanks\WoTLauncher.exe" -integrity

I think I ran into the same problem some patches ago, and fixed it with this method.

Integrity doesn't catch anything

@Rexxie Python log complains about Soviet coding

For me, nuking preferences.xml fixed it

Where is preferences.xml located?  A search doesn't locate a file with that name on my computer.

Okay.  Weirdly enough I could only find it with Windows key + R.

Now that I think about it, that wouldn't do it anyway.  Just tried it and it still has the problem - but I earlier deleted that entire folder as well as everything in res_mods and it still immediately crashed.

Uninstalling now to reinstall.

Okay.  I run Vista; is that feature present in Vista?

Never mind, a quick googling tells me compatibility mode exists in vista.
