The east side is an shitfest, the middle is a death trap, and the west side is unpredictable as hell. Also it's a bad city map where you can get hit by arty easily, which is the worst of all worlds. And finally, it's really, really ugly, just a bunch of gray and grey.

Stalingrad - 18 - The east is just a clusterfuck but it is the closest thing to a playable area of the map. The center is useless. The west is a bunch of corridors with no ability to predict where the heck the enemy will be easily shelled by artillery and little opportunity to effectively advance or shoot opponents. Id rather be on Prohorovka with 5 arty and 8 TDs in a slow fat heavy with pitiful side/top armor than this map. Getting this map is basically just a guarantee Im about to lose 2-4 percent on my marks in my heavy tanks unless I have some friends that actually know how to play this shit map. Not too horribly bad in mediums where I know I'll at least get some decent damage.

30-3=27 - it has nothing for anybody. The field is meaningless bascially every time so a Td has to camp useless or go down a corridor. If you go there in a med you'll get fucked by the TDs camping so you basically have to go city to be relevant. But the City's awkward as fuck for heavies as well.

27; This map blows serious dick. It's insanely simple and easy to play, but the pubbies (at least on the NA Server) have 0 fucking clue, and it's frustrating. All meds go to the corner at the 1 line, where arty retards focus to insta-kill anyone that pops up, and all heavies go to derp around the 8/9 line. The rest of the team (mostly light tanks/stray meds) fuck around in the mid and it's literally the SAME THING every time I play the map.

It plays out in broadly the same manner every match, but I like how mid-late game you can pass across the wide open middle to provide support without getting shot because everyone is focused on their little battle going on. Decrease hard cover at the caps, provide a little relief across the middle, and raise up the two valleys and you'd have an amazing vision map.

Something I know everyone around here notices is how absolutely terrible Wargaming is at maximizing terrain usefulness. Almost all of the original Dragon Ridge was impassable, The lake and mountains of Lakeville make over half of it impassable, and the same goes for Mountain Pass and Fjords. God forbid players are allowed room to maneuver on a map using vehicles designed for maneuver warfare... :wut:

Windstorm - 12 - What could've mad this map good was it being roughly symetrical. Move the city to the center then have enough terrain to flank eiother side of the city. At the moment it's just predictable, derivative and trash.
