Expected Values updated to v27

Recommended Posts

Like 20 up overall -40 recent, the Skoda t-50 changes showed themselves. Don't know why the overall went up, though.

Just a few more revisions and maybe I'll hit purple by doing nothing. :disco:

Hello and thanks for the update. It's nice to see how much effort is being put in order to keep the ratings as relevant and useful as possible.

I have a question regarding a problem (perhaps?) I have noticed in the past few weeks. I don't think it's worth opening a new thread for this, so I thought I'd ask here since it is somewhat related.

Basically, it seems like stats are updated / pulled very slowly or not at all for long periods of time. For example, I used to be able to finish up a session, close the client, wait 1 or 2 minutes and search my username on WoTLabs and it would immediately pull the data and calculate the up to date metrics. At most, I'd have to wait 1h.

However, starting roughly 2 weeks ago, this does not work anymore. I typically have to wait a few hours before the data is pulled, and when it is, not all of the metrics are calculated / logged. For example, I'll see my overall change, but not my recent. Then a few hours later, I will see the recents pop up, but the individual tank values will remain the same. Then again a few hours later, everything will be up to date. On at least one occasion (last weekend) updating the whole thing took nearly 2 days.

Last time I played was last night and it took around 4 hours to update.

I gather V27 has been online for roughly 12 hours, and the metrics still have not updated for my account.

Are there issues with the server running those calculations? Or is it something specific to my account that jams the whole thing and takes forever? Or perhaps it has to do with the implementation of WN9 soon?

Thanks!

We can blame @CarbonWard for 3 marking everyone's 907 and raising expected

Not unless he does it for several thousand EU and RU accounts as well.

The 907 performs consistently better than the 140 regardless of player skill. I expected that to be due to the side armour angle (it's a ghetto T-22), but then it doesn't do massively well on armour efficiency, so it's a bit of a puzzle. It's possible that the 140 is better than the stats suggest but gets hurt by MM tank-matching, but in that case the expected values are correct (even if the tanks were identical).

Still the fact O-Ho has higher expected than IS-3 bothers me... Maybe its because how many retards play IS-3?

People tend to play the IS-3 earlier in their tanking careers, so their IS-3 performance is worse than their other tier 8s. The WN8 method only has a partial filter for that. The Tiger II's also underrated for the same reason.

Overall and recent went up by a decent amount. My M48A1 Patton WN8 though has fallen dramatically, reflecting my poor relative performance with that tank even though i like it very much. If you do well below expected damage your WN8 will fall heavy and its shown now.

But are you taking into account that the average skill level of people playing the 907 is MUCH higher than the 140?

What was the 50/51's old expected?

I think it was in the 1800s or so. Maybe 1850? I know the Skoda was in the mid 1500s at least.

There are in total at least 44k Obj 907 in use on EU, RU and NA, which is pretty much the same amount as Obj 430 and more than AMX 30 B.
The amount is high enough for it to get dedicated values imo.

Of course you could get the ID's of those owners and calculate the WN8 of them and compare them to 44k random Obj 140 owners or the Obj 430 owners, but I don't think the average WN8 wont be that much different.
