Started here about as new, and red, as a player can be. In fact I was so misinformed about this game I was probably infrared. Hopefully someone gets that.

Anyway, M-I-T helped me understand the game and how to play it. With the Monday night training M-I-T has, mentoring and platooning from some of the M--M folk and the instruction and guidance from our unicum visitors, my game-play has increased immensely. I need to also send a shout out to Hanz, who dedicates time to watch and analyze tapes with me and occasionally carries me through a platoon.

So if you're looking for a clan to make you a unicum, well this ain't it, but it will improve your skills and get you pretty far on your path to purple.

It will get you to green, and from there... you're going to take a leap of faith, and end up in [M--M]. Then you'll get your teeth kicked in by Favre, and then... voila, blue/dark blue.

Favre is a cruel cruel teacher. He only plays masochistic/sadistic (depends, is Favre kicking a** or are you sucking?) blue tanks, that have no armor. Platoon with him, he doesn't teach you, he doesn't tell you where he's going, doesn't follow your orders. Best toonmate I could ask for. Makes you think

 

Disclaimer: Favre and my playstyle are near complete opposites. Favre is my best friend. I have sacrificed many of my tanks for Favre, as he as also done for me. Favre is good at shooting red tanks. Channe is almost as good as Favre. Favre is still the best.

In all seriousness though, the Minion community is a great place to learn. It has strong ties to a talented community so you can find willing mentors no matter what your skill level. I'm nowhere near as good as @Matross makes me out to be, but I owe my success to M-I-T and M--M.

Favre will help others, but not me... I'm dense. He expects more from me. Usually, I end up watching Favre duke it out, after I donk out. Just very different play styles between me and Favre~

My teamspeak doesn't seem to like your server address. I think it's the double dash. When I take out the second dash my connect button is no longer greyed, but of course that's the wrong address!

I wish, 1/2 the people on my teams I played with were signing up with M-I-T today.

 

1) To the FV4202, my batchat does not have any armor. The Waffle 4, will derp me for 750 alpha, and I have 438 HP left, you have more than 800, please push ahead and spot. I will flank him for you, and we can cap to win this match together (no, he doesn't, waffle 4 comes over the hill with a skorpion G, kills me first, then kills the FV4202).

2) To the T32, you have full HP, and I have 400 some HP. Please move up, and draw a shot, so I can dump 4 of my shells into the enemy for you. I will try to track with the first shot, so you have a chance to hit him too (he doesn't, we lose out on 2 other tanks to shoot at, I had to run from that spot, fox hole was going to get too hot for the both of us).

3) To the T34/T32's when I was playing my IS7, yes, my tank is glorious, yes, it has a an impenetrable turret, however, I am 1 tank, I cannot push this flank alone. Please, keep up with me, and STOP CAMPING IN THE BACK (I charged anyway, I killed everything in front of me, The T32's and the T34 did pretty much nothing, and got no damges in, I carried).


All of the people above... they need a some training. Please report to M-I-T training on Monday's ASAP.
