Yes, you'll need UPlay. Yes, its sad that manufacturers churn out their own shitty Steam replicas. Despite this, free games fuckers. Move fast.

Prince of Persia Sands of Time, Splinter Cell 1, Rayman Origins, The Crew, Beyond Good and Evil, Far Cry Blood Dragon and Assassassassassin's Creed 3.

Its a pretty awesome line up, and even if AC3 is a bit dull it does have the first iteration of shippies.

Also, i tried downloading a version of photoshop from piratebay and it didnt work anyway. And condoning illegally downloading games is dumb. And you wouldnt be able to access the online features in games such as the Crew for Example (which you need to be to play it)

You do realise the software developers like me actually depend on people paying for our software to make a living, right?

If you are a poor student, sure, I get it, software is expensive and you can't afford it right now.

But if you have a paying job and you still recommend PB then, imho, you should just FOAD.

Couple of years ago, when I was just a 14-15 YO boy in one of the Balkans third world countries there were no CD copies of games, 99% of us couldn't get our hands on internet copies, no one had paypal... Not to mention that a game of 50$ is 1/8 of an avrage salary here. So, I couldn't buy games even if I had the money (which I dont) and I just wanted to play god damn games ffs. And what triggered me most was that some first world scrub casual could play all the games he wanted while I (a dedicated gamer at the time) couldn't get my hands on anything, so thank god for piratebay. And I'm sorry if I forget myself sometimes, this is an international forum, most of you didn't have these issues and I'm still stuck in that mindset. Anyway sorry about the rant, maybe I shouldn't have mention PB. :feelsbad:

I get where you're coming from. Like I said, poor students, people in the third world (In case you didn't notice, I live in South Africa), etc get a free ticket (a qualified one though...).

But that said, since becoming an adult with a job that pays well and with Steam/GOG/etc now easily available I've managed to buy just about every game I ever pirated back in the day. 

For me, this feels right. I may not play those games ever again (I probably won't, tbh) but I have finally paid for them.

Before I used to work as a developer I didn't really think about it but the reality is that if no one paid for the software I work on then the company would go under and I'd have to find a new job. The software also wouldn't get any more patches or anything and in 15 years when come guy says he wants to take over the source has probably been destroyed :-)

Thank to @enroh for pointing this out to me yesterday. I tried The Crew at 4gb downloaded or so? and I tested the game and holy fuck does it looks good and runs nice on my system, steady 60fps(which is cap for me somehow?) . Definitely DLing the whole game and play it later. Feels like a nice NFS: World replacement for me, runs better and looks better.

Anyway, i can understand people like yugo, hell I'm one of them if you are a boy and you don't work (and if you work) it's not easy to throw like 1/3 of monthly rent on a game or 1/3 of minimal wage in Serbia on a game.

It's fine to support developers, but it isn't same pay 50eur with 2k euro wage and 50eur with 200euro wage...

Now (for a few years now) I have my own job, doing decent I can buy some of the stuff I want. For other stuff, i really need to work my ass off to get it (like newer coupe I'm looking, or my own flat...).

AC went downhill after Brotherhood and III is probably the worst of the series, imo. At least of the ones i've played (didn't play any after blackflag).

I passed AC3 and currently playing BF. I really liked AC3.
