Some kind of God bothering reborn supertester (which is not to paint all of them with the same brush as this is the ONLY one I've had any ongoing issue with) decided to take umbrage at something that was typed ingame months ago and repeated word for word what I'd typed (even though it was said by others) and threatened to contact his friends in management "upstairs".

Less than ten hours later chatbanned for 72 with threat of sanction.

A little over a month later I have received a strike and when questioned, the chatlogs from WG support included PMs between myself and freinds discussing such mundane things as work and extremely high temperatures.

So a word of warning that once on their radar you can expect NKVD tactics to be employed.

Yep, i found out when i was good boy and send replay to WG (some fool TK me) and they told me, hey guy sent you PM as apology. So i figure they can see all. Which is bad really considering you can't send mean stuff and being undetected.

I got chat banned for 2 weeks just a few days ago, last chat ban was like 2 years ago when I said something in general chat. I did PM people after games and called them stuff in game as well.  I miss the ability to insult those morons but WG chat banned me.

Why would anyone assume they could't read absolutely everything that happens in their game? What about PM's made you think it was somehow inaccessible to WG? Working as an it-consultant I run into these kinds of logical short circuits all the time, but they still baffle me

It might be the part that starts with p in private message.

As for the rest, chatbans are fairly frequent in WoWS. I've had days and weeks where I didn't say anything and the next day, bam, chatbanned, for calling someone a retard. They really want to cut the "toxicity" out of this community, even though the actual source of the toxic behaviour remains untouched.
