So, yet another Soviet premium tier 8 heavy tank is coming soon. Because there's never a lack for them.

Will it be any good compared to existing Soviet tier 8 heavy tanks like the IS-6, IS-3A, IS-5 and IS-3.
And for arguments sake, compared to the Chinese 112, WZ-111 and 110 (because they're pretty much the same deal)

Just for reference, that's the effectiveness of the 420HEAT JPE100 pen against the UFP while on flat ground.

Weakest part of the lfp at that angle. SeemsLegitMan. Now imagine this tank meets T6 tanks even, this armor is just balanced.  Best thing is you can angle it a lot and your armor is still T H I C C af. When using your gun depression you can mostly hide your cupolas which is also great.

I'm not going to get it simply because of how terrible the DPM and gun handling are.  Literally soft handling stats of an IS-6 gun on a tier 8 that can see tier 10s, with an eternity of a reload.  On NA the pubbies already love to yolo you for no reason since purple or clantags, and having a tank that can maybe get one shot off against the impending horde as they rush past your teammates to fap themselves into you isn't fantastic.

I'm not sure where you stand on this with other tanks, but all things considered, the gun handling actually isn't too bad.  IS-3 still easily beats it though because stronk balance.

As interesting as this tank seems, I would be wary of buying it. I don't read tank blogs very often, but I saw on the Armored Patrol that one of their "insiders" said 

TAP Insider: "They are making the tank look OP, so people will buy it and WG will already have a nerfed version ready to go in the future."

And while they haven't nerfed premium tanks in a while, I'm sure the option is still on the table.

I dunno, nerfing prems would destroy any confidence people have in buying new ones. I read it as him saying that WG will sell this one, afterwards say it's unexpectedly too strong and can't be sold again but they do have this shiny 252-Patton they'd like to interest you in

Yea, it would still have probably around +250 effective UFP (more against HEAT), which would mean it would still resist tier 8 gold shell reliably. A tier 8 not being reliably penned by infamous JP E100 blazeit HEAT shells is just wrong.

Maybe the RL (was it built?) versions track guards are all fucked up, or they did it for uniqueness. Kind of annoying if the former, I'd prefer them to look how they were intended. Instead of the Kran having a shell lodged in the turret and stuff.

Also the gun handling is not that bad look at the aim time. Sure in tier ten game it might be bad but in tier 8 this thing will be a god. With all that armor it just needs to get close and  shoot in the face.

Gives RU server less to complain about when they meet an AMX C0ck tank in it's full clown camo. Good armour, good pen, good alpha, horrid dpm.
