M48 Patton 4700 Combined = 87% MOE

Recommended Posts

Is it possible that anyone give me an explanation to this? my understanding of marks would give me the impression that these stats are what youd need to get something similar to a 907 3 mark but they have me just below 87% in an M48 patton.. lmao

Is this normal? I dont have a ton of experience 3 marking tanks.. could it be because i played these games over a couple months?

thanks

Wait, I thought MoEs took the highest amount of one or the other; like if you did 4k damage and 1k assisted, then it would only count the 4k. I'm probably wrong...I wish I had the persistence for 3 marx:QQ:

I wish someone would explain this clearly. I have no freaking clue how this mechanic works. I'm particularly clueless about the role, if any, of playing a given tank a certain number of battles within a certain time frame.

req is around 4.6k or so, personally I found M48 one of the easiest considering the farming capabilities of that thing, also I'm pretty sure which is exactly what Val said.

You spotting/tracking is split, that and 100 games is not enough for your mark line to fully peak.

Also, thats some god awful dpg.

Cool, thanks for letting me know.

Im aware, its my highest t10 dpg so far :P ill get there, eventually.

Whats with the not peaking after 100 games though? Like.. It specifically says after 100 games in game..

Had the same thing in my stb-1, at 100 games played I was at 3.9K dpg and 1000 assist, was only at 86%.
Prob 2 reasons for that:

1) Your assist is total of tracking and spotting, whereas for marks only the highest each battle counts.

2) Each next game counts twice as much for your marks as the game before, so if your last couple of games where a bit worse, you wont get the marks.

Fail in a one game and the percentage drops like 1% and it might take several games to fix that.

O kurwa. I'm somewhat on the same boat as you with +4,6k combined damage(assisted tracking or spotting). I can't just for the living shit out of me 3rd mark the M48. I've been at 94,xx twice now and just yesterday I had a good streak of 6k combined, just to ruin it in 2 games of sub 3k combined.... I can't just make the lack of mobility to work for me.

If my bot ass could do it, you should be able to. I got lucky with my map rotation on my final run, so maybe if you are getting shit maps, just stop or something.

Think 3 marking is one of those things that if you play a tank enough, youll get it..

Its just fucking incredible how little wargaming tells us about it, whats the point of a stat if you dont know what the hell it measures

Thats not how it works Im afraid.

Instead of WG keeping track of 100 values for each tank you have, they keep track of one.

This can be annoying for cases like yours, but its a overall better deal because you wont have to grind out 100 more games if you get 1-shoted or ammoracked.

The value starts at 0, and you gain or loose depending on the delta between your tank value and what dmg+assist you got in your last game. You can read more about how it works here from another post on the forum:

I did the maths for you in a speadsheet assuming a petfect 4,7k each game, and after 100 games your value was 4007.

Amazing, you guys in the maths corner go above and beyond when it comes to this game.

Thanks very much.

How would one work out how long the mark line takes to fully peak?

Depends how you look at it.

If you assume you get a combined score each game with no deviation, it would take an infinite amount of games before your tank score matches your combined score.
The reason for this is that the mark adds or subtracts 2% of the delta between your tank score and the score you got in your last battle. So it would take 150 games to reach 95% of your combined score. After 100 games you are at 86%

Obviously this isn't the case as all games are not the same, and having good games above your average once you reach 90% is the way to go if you want to get the 3rd mark.
