T-34-3 vs Type 59: which is better?

The T-34-3 is currently on sale in EU. How does it compare to the Type59? And also, if you have a Type59, is it worth getting the T-34-3?

They are the same tank except for the gun. The Type 59 is better for consistently dealing damage because of the much better gun depression and handling.

So, it’s a matter of whether or not you like the D-25T and want to use it on that platform instead of just spamming the Type 59. A lot of people probably would not buy a T-34-3 if they have a Type 59, but there are also plenty of people that have both. 

It’s in the tech tree. So, you could also just wait for the next test server and try it for yourself.

Type 59 is better. It's top speed is 56 vs T-34-3's 50kph

7 degrees of gun depression t-34-3 only gets 5

Armor is exactly the same

Type 59 gets a good apcr round as it's gold shell vs the shitty chinese 250pen heat

AP has higher base pen 181 vs 175

The gun actually hits stuff past 200m

I have both, but end up playing the 34-3 more, but Zeph above is probably right, I just like the big alpha on the 34-3, but it can be frustrating when you bounce or miss cause gun handling is terrible...but you also get lol RNG sometimes like this...

Oh and also you get to one shot arty often

I don't think it's just about the 111 itself, but the fact that Chinese heavies are fantastic tanks right now - both the 113 and the 5A are strong in the current meta.  The tier 9 heavy has always been great as well

You got speed comparable to 34-3, far better frontal plate, gun with same aimtime as 34-3 with better accuracy and dpm.

Oh, and a shit load more health, only thing 111 doesn't have is camo, which isn't that important for a close range brawler.

overall wz111 is just a tank with overloaded stat for its tier and MM, and it shows when its the fourth highest dpg tier 8 HT just below 252 and IS5.

Is it often on sale, the wz111? The 112 in the tech tree is not worth it in comparison?

When your crew can reach out and high-five the enemy crew, accuracy isn't as much of an issue.

I don't think you'd be ostracized, but the FV fits an utterly different playstyle, so it's not IMHO a good point for comparison.  In other words, if you prefer ridgeline poke-sniping, yeah, the FV's better.  But if you want a mobile brawler, I'd take either of the Chinese tonks first.

Comparing pref MM to regular MM tanks is difficult. Although, pref MM has definitely been nerfed. It’s a matter of always facing 5 tier 9’s instead of sometimes getting 3 tier 10’s too.

You mean worse gun handling, worse armor and seeing tier10 for better pen and some speed? I'd say you need to use less drugs.
