This tank is not good. It is however funny. Its the size of a tier 1, with the firepower of the pre 9.18 SP1C, and the hitpoints of a tier 7 tank. But, it has god tier camo, which means a little something, and you can at least do funny things with terrain.

Protection/Durability

Good

• 46% camo, 11% firing
• Tier 1 size - hide in all kinds of bullshit spots, invent cover on the fly, abuse terrain

Bad

• Absurdly low hitpoints - 3 shots from almost anything and you're done
• all HE will pen, and arty misses splash hard
• 6 tons of weight means all rams/bumps HURT

Mobility

Good

• 70 kph is nice
• It's a LT - your mobility and size make for nice protection

Bad

• Low hp/t at 23
• Traverse on medium terrain is marginal, large turn radius

Firepower

Good

• 0.33 accuracy is enough
• Depression -9 and a comfy +13 elevation
• 45 x 220 ammo is enough
• Autoloader! (220x3 2.5 between)

Bad:

• Handling, aim-time, pen, interclip
• Abysmal 1238 max dpm

If they give it 30% higher hp/t and turning rate it could be a pretty fun pure active spotter, like this it's just not mobile enough to play that role in an effective and fun way. Could be the VBL/Wiesel of World of Tanks. And come on, at least reduce the aim time on the gun.

I can imagine it can cause funny moments, and that camo is really nice. The DPM is indeed bad: every single tier 6 tank has a better nominal DPM than this one, but if we consider the first shot DPM (the clip is already loaded at the start of the engagement),  then it is actually not that horrible. For me actually the gun handling is the deal breaker. I simply hate it if I have to aim for a long time to hit anything with a paper tank, that is meant to be running around.

If I'm reading those stats correctly, it has DPM that belongs halfway between tier 1 and tier 2, hitpoints that would be pretty good at tier 7, and worst in class+tier aim time, armor, gun elevation (it sometimes matters!) and view range (tied). Also bad shell velocity and power:weight. And mediocre accuracy. 

They could give it several small buffs and it would be a hilarious gimmick tank for when you want to roleplay a mosquito.

I keep going back and forth about this one. I do enjoy the scouting (as in pure scouting) role, and the combination of traits make it look like the best scout at tier 8, or possibly in the game. Plus, I could always use more training on my female French light tank crew.

Plus, it's combination of characteristics really make it look like an ELC AMX, which is something I do miss going to goof around in every once in a while.

 

I'm still on the fence, but I'm leaning towards buying it.

Played 40 games today on a 3 and half skill crew.

Not as bad as initially thought, but nevertheless, i think i can confidently im one of the better LT players on the server and im barely hitting my tier 8 LT average combined.

Well I couldn't make it work with the t92 light so there is a considerable amount of chance that I will suck in this too. Only thing is the autoloader but mehh.

On the other hand Centurion Action something tier 8 will arrive too which is going to be better than this probably.

Camo is one of those things that gets incrementally better as you go up the scale.

45% is the ideal place as its the point where you can hide in a large bush and only be proxied at 50 meters by a tank with 500 meter VR

Which is a big difference between that and say 35%, in which a 500M VR tank can spot you behind a large bush at 150 meters.

10% camo effective would decrease your visibility by 66% while camo spotting.

Maaannn, I kinda want this tank. The name, the size and the general playstyle itself is so gimmicky that I find it extremely funny. 

 

I wanted it in the first place so i can call it the Do you Even 90 when it was kinda announced, now its just even funnier to me.

It has a worse gun than the tier 6 Swedish premium autoloader and is pretty much worse in every bar pen than the T71 DA.

If you gave the AMX 12t tier 8 hit points and pen, it would be a better tank.

I think this is up there with the worst premium they have ever released.
