Mods in 2018

Where do you get your mods now?  I'm looking for Xvm, sniper zoom that I can set X"s manually,  zoom out if it's not banned.

I can't find anything googlin that looks legit and virus free.

Safest place is the official mod hub. Everything there is verified legal. There are a bunch of xvm packages. Don't know if there's zoom out or not.

Yea I looked at the Aslains extc...I am trying to get the bare bones XVM..none of the distracting alterations.

Zoom out mod

Set Zoom in to X16 max..

That's it, idk why it's so hard to get the basics, always has been.

Does anyone have an XVM that doesn't change

Everything is optional in the Aslain installer.  If you want a barebones installation, choose the "Reset" option on the fourth screen in in the drop down menu. This will uncheck all options and then you can go down the list and choose what you want to install.

There's Relhax which took over when Odem Mortis stopped doing theirs, it's just Aslains with a different skin though basically.

This is what I was missing, didn't realize I was enabling all that by mistake.

The only mods i would run is the mark of excellence % mod and that one mod that shows where bizarre shots hit you after the battle.

Other than that almost every functionality mods had has been implemented into the client

Noticed Aslain still has the tankview minimap mod, the one that shows the turret directions for enemy tanks on the minimap. Shouldn't that one be illegal?

Mods in 2018 are in a shitty state.

I tried Aslain's, Webium's and played now roughly 1k battles with Solo's.

Constant crashes and FPS degradation from 120 FPS to like 60 and even below. Whoever is programming them should be doing something else :P.

I use just custom crosshairs and tank icons for now.
