The trial matchmaker will switch its priority and increase the amount of two-tier battles when compared to the classic 3-5-7. This means that there are new templates: 6-9 (for Tiers X and IX) 7-8 (for all Tiers) [Note: This will become the main template for all players]

Not unlikely given the quality of play at tiers 1-5. Depending on their equipment and loadout they may well kick your stock tier 2 ass easily

On the common test, the bots were better than red players and probably as good or only slightly worse than oranges. If WG taught the bots to flex, they would be as good as 50% of NA player base.

Bots will not spam chat with insults, kiddo rage and they don't know your mother.

Because the ANZ server has 1000 people on it. So grinding tiers 1-5 it is impossible to get a game. No bots after tier 5 or on any other server.

Played like 20 tier 8 games, never saw 10s. Tier 8s feel really good to play now, especially the ones that are were balanced/rebalanced around 3 5 7. Old tanks with lacklustre armour and poor pen are now playable. Then there are tanks that were otherwise good but severely limited by MM - they are in a good spot now. Tanks like the Defender that were only balanced by tier 10s are now jesus on tracks since you can just roll over tier 8s while still having the ability to fuck up tier 9s frontally.

Rough tier list from what I played and saw being played (bear in mind I am a 30 IQ heavy player):

Extra tier 9s:

• Heavies: Defender, Chrysler, Nameless

Stronk 8s:

• Heavies: Paytriot, M4 49 Caern AX, Caern, Lowe, 50TPP, 53TP, IS-3, IS-M, 1001P, Somua SM
• Meds: T-44-100, Progetto, Pantera, Cent 5/1, 416, Lorraine
• TDs: Skorp, 120GFT, S1

Rest of the tanks are playable, but you'd be at a disadvantage against the tanks listed above most of the time. Balanced MM is great, don't mistake me, but it does bring problems with balance into greater than ever relief. Some 8s are literally head and shoulders above their peers and the vast majority of those are prems.

This is the problem. Just highlights how bad other aspects of the game are. Seeing less tier 10s on ANZ while grinding my HWK 12 last night; not none. Guess around 1/2-1/3 of games still.

That’s still better than the 3/4 of games where you see 10s though.

i played mid and low tiers last night.  It was good to see games where you weren’t bottom tier all the time, and to actually get a game in lower tiers.

Shit yeah it is. Just saying it shifts the focus to other glaring problems. There are no easy fixes for the monstrosity WG have created (I’m well overdue a break from the game as you can probably tell).

If it's anything like planes, it will be extremely easy to tell bots from actual accounts (but not necessarily humans). You can't report bots.
