"Soldiers of Fortune" CW Reward Tanks (907/VKK offered for the last time?)

In addition, according to our Russian colleagues from WoT Express, bonds will be able to be exchanged for all CW vehicles available to date (М60, 121В, Т95Е6, T95 / FV4201 Chieftain), including also the Object 907 and VK 72.01 (K).

However, there is a rumor that the 907 and VK (K) will appear for the last time.

contrary to popular belief the upcoming “Soldiers of Fortune” event will offer the infamous object 907 and VK 72.01 (K), supposedly for the last time.

personally i dont have a problem with the VKK (thought my opinion may be a bit biased since its my fav tier 10). But the Object 907 (IMO) is something we defiantly dont need more of in 2019. Broken in pubs and Toxic for competitive game-play, i dont think WG is thinking this one through (but then again when do they think anything through?).

thoughts?

"Never" has a surprising flexibility in the Wargaming lexicon.  The 907 has been available for 3 or 4 years so by now anyone who wants one and can get one, has one.   I don't think removing it a year from now will help.

I still don`t understand why WG not just nerf this tanks  if they are a problem. They are "normal" tanks no one ever payed real money for. Just nerf it a bit and it is fine.

WG balance team fired the last guy who got the idea of nerf. Or even an existence of such thing.

In age of SerB we had list of changes to tanks. Murazor changed it to the list if buffs.

Crazy prediction. They add them to the bond shop and nerf them. Only compensation for cw players will be the special skins, emblems, and inscriptions they got in cw.

i never understood this either, when they buffed the 121b/m60/t95 they attempted to re-balance the VKK and make it more of a traditional side scraper. The official forums erupted into flames and as a result they pulled the changes.

I'm curious as to the cost(s) of these tanks as well

The cost of the campaign reward tanks?  Only your life, soul, and sanity.  Sometimes your job, marriage or relationship also I'm also told.

Dignity is somewhere in there too.

If you like a low-drama life, the cost is unbearable.

I've never done clan things but occasionally toy with the idea because reward tanks are nifty. What's so bad about the process?

It's gotten slightly better. WG makes you earn individual fame points of which you need a certain amount in order to qualify for a tank.  What happens is that players in the same clan can start competing with each other for battles, which causes drama.  WG has shortened the campaigns down to 2.5-ish weeks from a month or longer which has made it much better.

30 days of prime time grinding was bad enough, but I did it when you also had to spam the fuck out of stronks to earn enough influence points to even have the 'privilege' of dropping into CW.  Once was enough, I earned my snorkel and swore never again.

Since I’m finally doing a full campaign (they usually happen when I’m traveling as I don’t count the IS-5) I’m really torn on picking the Object 907 vs the Chieftain. I know the 907 is probably objectively better, but a fast hull down beast with those armor angles and gun is very appealing to me. I played a ton of Object 260 and Strv last night, but I hadn’t realized that callers flat out don’t take Object 140’s anymore.

pick whichever you want/are going to enjoy more

there are plenty of other tanks you can grind out to make up for not having a 907, seems like a waste to pick (your first?) CW tank for the sake of CW's IMO
