Probably the reward tank for old players this year. Shame, this thing is a shadow of what the old bobblehead Chaffee was.

10% better hp/ton
1 deg better gun depression

20 more ammo

Gun handling/terrain resistance might end up being nicer, but that top speed is pretty terrible for a T6 LT.

I don't know if you recall but the old Chaffee used to go at that speed. This thing should have 400m VR and the old gun too just for the memes

Not to mention how it stacks up to the Type 64. But here's an idea that I pitched on the WG forums that might get some traction here- bump up to tier 7, adjust hit points, give it back its original 400m base view range, accuracy, DPM, and other previous advantages. Balance from there.

Totally agree, this thing would be much more interesting at T7. MM would be pretty similar to the old Chaffee that way, too, so stats could be basically ported.

The Super Chaffee suffers from the same problem that every other tier 6 LT has, its just a bad Type 64. I don't even care if its good, I just want something that isn't a Type 64 knockoff.

IS4 on t9 had a 130mm gun, with 8 dep gun depression and the gun didnt stick out of the turret either, so if said tank will be russian, im sure its possible

It looks pretty bad now, like almost A46 level. (almost, that thing is un-redeemably bad)

Not complaining though; it's a free premium so if nothing else, it's worth taking out for x5s to train crew.

Yeah, it is about 5% better than the A46, which exists only for me to 3 mark it.
