I figure I got pretty lucky. 100 boxes purchased, all three tier 8s I didn't have (had the Borat) and the new tier 6 as well as all the other ones. Just under 51k gold, about 10 million credits and 40ish premium days. I'm set for a year or so.

its not really good in any particular aspect, it has decent mobility and a 250-260 EF turret face with -10

but its gun is near defender levels of bad, and it has bad DPM/RoF. also Having HEAT as a gold round with such a derpy gun is pain.

the MM atm only makes it suffer more because its mostly GSOR's and some 152K's neither of which will ever bounce you with 321/329 APCR, throw in a bunch of Borrasque's and other C45's and its a 90% zoom zoom autoloader bloodbath.

Bought 75 boxes, already had the burrito and got all 3 tier 8s. Also got 3 mil credits, 31k gold and 59 days of prem. I didn't really care about the premiums I just wanted gold and premium time so im happy with it.

Congrats! Some people are just absurdly lucky, I guess. I went like 200+ boxes deep for the bourrasque, my recruit got it within the first 5 boxes she opened. She ended up getting 50 boxes and all 4 tier 8 prems.

25 and both the Bisonte and GSOR is the dream. Not sure how many to buy myself - I chased the Object 703 and E 75 TS last year and got neither, which was disappointing. 

I did get the Defender the year before though, so swings and roundabouts.

Got everything except the 430U style from last year in the first 170 boxes. (Nothing in the last 55 boxes, scam)

Total about 100k gold, 145 days premium and 12M credits. Level X atmosphere and 50% credit boost from the deco's shards from unboxing.

I was prepared to buy up to 300 boxes for the gold value and knew my odds of getting the 3 good t8's were lower since I didn't do boxes last year.

Seems fine, about average expected value.

I bought 1 packof 75 and got the GSOR and some of the lower tier prems and about 25k gold, a lot of german 3d styles, etc. I was mostly getting them just for the gold and head start on event, so no complaints from me. Since I got a new job with a 16% raise, I might roll the dice one more time later...?

Because I'm a whale or something, I bought another pack and got the Bisonte & ISU + something like 40k gold...

I haven't even equipped my new tanks yet because I have 30m silver of tech tree tanks that I want to buy...

Figured I would post this here, since there isn't really another place to post it.

Here are the list of the best low-tier tanks to use your Holiday Ops tanks discounts on if you want to buy then sell for maximum profit.

Tier 7 and higher: Just to be clear, you aren't going to make credits by buying and then selling a tank at these tiers. At tier 7 you'll break even, at tier 8+ you'll lose credits. So just use these discounts to get tanks you want.

Tier 6: O-I or Hellcat, both @950,000 credits. With 60% discount, you buy @380,000 credits and sell @475,000 credits, for a profit of 95,000 credits.

Tier 5: T1 Heavy @435,000 credits. With 80% discount, you buy @87,000 credits and sell @217,500 credits, for a profit of 130,500 credits.

Tier 4: B1 @185,000 credits. With 100% discount, you buy @0 credits and sell @92,500 credits, for a profit of 92,500 credits.

Tier 3: M15/42 @45,400 credits. With 100% discount, you buy @0 credits and sell @22,700 credits, for a profit of 22,700 credits.

Tier 2: M14/41 @4,100 credits. With 100% discount, you buy @0 credits and sell @2,050 credits, for a profit of 2,050 credits.

Your total profit should be 342,750 credits.

 

I might have made a mistake. But, even if I did, those tanks should still be very close to the most expensive at their tiers.

I had two really good years in 2019 and 2018 where I got all tier 7 and 8 premiums that I did not previously own (so I have picked up the IS3A, Defender, SU-130PM, E75TS, 703-II, E25 plus probably one or two others I can't remember). Given the price for 75 boxes, you basically need 2 tier 8 premiums to be 'ahead' given you also get the gold equivalent. I would consider 1 tier 8 premium as 'breaking even'.

So this year, I only broke even.

75 boxes. Only 1 tier 8 premium, although at least it was the Bisonte (I really wanted that or the Boura, the GSOR also looked interesting). Only 1 of the 3D skins which is a surprise as most years I get almost all of them. Low on the gold too, only around 25k. About 5 million credits, and about 60 days in premium time if I'm not mistaken. All of the lower tier premiums, including that new french tier 6 autoloader. I got a couple of doubles of low tier premiums.

Definitely a bit salty about missing out on a Boura after seeing so many of them flood the matchmaker, but after 2 years of really good luck, I guess it was due to run out sooner or later.

I had a mediocre 2018 where I only got the Defender (plus skins and low tiers) in 150 boxes, but made out like a bandit last year with pulling 7 tier 8 premiums, plus all skins and low tiers in 75 -- with duplicates that worked out to 68k gold plus the 703-2 and 75TS. This year was in-between, 2 skins, GSOR+Bisonte, plus all low tiers for a total of 27k gold in 75 boxes.

I've only had time to get 4 games in. Agree the gun handling is HORRIBLE. I am running IRM and Vstab (and Vents) and it still takes an age to aim in. I'm not really used to the 'reload saving' mechanic so it is basically playing like an Italian med right now. Mobility is okay in the straight line but poor power-to-weight so it really struggles up hills. Turret is okay and has spaced armour but hull is not very good.

First three games were all pretty good, 3k average damage or thereabouts. 4th game my team got steamrolled and I derped out. Feels balanced-to-strong, definitely not OP.

0.25 dispersion on 0.4 base explains that... By comparison the IS-3A is 0.25 on 0.44, and the Defender is 0.23 on 0.42.
