I'd say there's a good chance that the end of September will bring another British line.  I'm personally hoping for the heavy line, but TDs are also a possibility given that they have only been done once so far.  I'll probably finish the BP grind but hold off on buying the Caern for a bit.  I'll probably also grind out the low tier Brit TDs since I kind of want to try the mid tier ones at least.

I think next on track depends on when they expect to release the patch.  I suspect they are holding back on the Chinese tank on track to boost sales of the premiums coming out in the next patch.

So if patch this month = chinese.  If not? then Brit Td's.

And why the Maus line? It's moldy at this point. It's not like they need to drive more players to play it.

Because 42% noobs willing to spend gold on free XP, always see the Maus as some unstoppable force that they can't ever lose in.

BECAUSE IT'S A MAUS!!!!!!

I was actually considering going up the chinese line briefly if they put it on sale.  I can't seem to even force myself to play the Type-58.

So according to FTR, the Maus line will be the next On Track.  I wonder how WG picks it?  Because it doesn't seem to make any sense to me.

It's a vote across all offices by product specialists and community reps.  There is no pattern to it or rotation.

I'm beginning to think that the Maus line is a subtle troll by WG. It seems as if that line is meant to sucker in novice players.

It suckered me in when I was new. Then I found out how (un)viable the Maus was in CW and ditched the line after I finished the Tiger P. Though I have kind of been looking for an excuse to pick up a 4502A. I am a WoT masochist.

It's nice that you're here Ectar, but 1) shouldn't you be working and 2) are you allowed to post on this forum?

Best tier 10, I say only partially tongue in cheek. It's a lot of fun to drive post-normalization nerf and Artyocalypse. Your anemic damage output is offset by your staying power, meaning it's not difficult to top the board, at least in my experience as of late.

That being said, does anyone remember that China is a country with tanks in this game?

Apparently China is unpopular with community reps and product specialists !

Wow... I have had the Maus unlocked for 6 months now and have not had a reason to purchase it. I guess this next on track event I won't have to grind hard like I have on my T-54. I see no reason to purchase the Maus at this point. Someone correct me if I am wrong but another top tier heavy is more usable on 90% of the maps for pubs and I hardly see Mice in CW either.

CW? Nah, forget it.

Pubs? Well, it's not the mobile damage spewer that's in vogue with most players, it's certainly not particularly flexible, its damage output is weak, and Maus v. Maus matches are a comedy of two tanks looking past each other and only occasionally shooting, but I've found it quite enjoyable as of late. Very little can bully a lone opponent better than a 189 ton steel barn with 3,000 hitpoints. It's nice to shove people around knowing that your turret alone weighs more than the entirety of a T110E5. I remember one night I averaged 7-8k potential damage, with a good showing in damage dealt thanks to staying power on the field.

If you can deal with the tactical inflexibility and strategic uselessness, it can be quite fun. Not going to call it a hardcore carrying tank, though.

Edit: I forgot to mention it has an absurd ability to attract fire from the other team, on par with 13 90s and WZ-132s. Difference being, it can sit there and take it. Almost nobody in pubs realizes that they should be shooting just about any other tank on the field, so you can serve as a fantastic riot shield while your team dismantles all the decloaked enemies.

I'd take a Maus in a platoon of 3 at tier 10, gives a lot for the higher firepower tanks to play off, and I have the garage to cover all the other roles.

Maus on-track?

Great, I will save up for another 2 weeks for the next useful on-track. The 121 or T110E4 would be nice.

I might use this just to grab the Tiger P, since I managed to nab the 3001P a week ago. Not sure whether I feel at all comfortable with going any further up the line, the 4502A looks pretty terrible, forcing RU gameplay onto a German chassis. The 4502B I'm actually interested in; looks like an E-75 that's actually difficult to play. No opinion on the Maus, I'm leaning towards ignoring it though. It doesn't look different enough from the E-100, and it's certainly worse in general.

I find the Tiger P to be ok.  I've been (very) slowly grinding out the Ferdi on it.  After that is done, I will most likely sell the tank.  It's not bad, just not fun enough to keep.

I played the 4502A for a while (won some gold with it during the Heavy Tank marathon).  It's a workable tank although there is nothing particularly exciting about it.  I think I sold it right after getting my high XP score.

The Aufs. B isn't bad. I enjoyed it and I imagine that it is better now for two reasons. (1) Generally less arty and (2) HEAT mechanic changes. Angle that bugger and it will bounce a lot for you.

I may actually get off my butt and grind for this one. The Maus was always on my wish list since I started playing, and I rarely see them anymore (and the Aufs. B even less). I seem to do better in brick tanks than I do with zippy go-karts, so this should be perfect for me. I stalled out after getting past the Tigers and got distracted by other lines, but I do have the VK4502A elited already so hopefully it should be a manageable grind.

I'd like the next on-track to be the Object 268 because I've had the ISU-152 researched for a while and haven't bothered to buy it yet. Besides, they haven't done a TD on-track in a while.
