So i just got this beast like probably most of everyone else from the last day of Black Market key thing. 

Now im no good player. But man this is OP as heck. Are you guys having fun in it too ? 

 

Should it be removed  or just plain nerfed (i say no its too much fun! 😈)

It's sooo amazing now, though! It used to be such a turd back in the day (did it use to be tier 6 too?), but somewhere along the line it got buffed and now it's the most fun you're ever gonna have with your pants on.

At the very least it shouldn't have sheltered. With normal MM it'd be good, with sheltered it's redonk. It's 3/4 medium tank 3/4 heavy tank and works in both roles. Every one spams APCR in it too just to rub it in.

tank was buffed back in like 2016 iirc, they gave it pref MM and dropped it down a tier. 

its been OP ever since, but its never been much of an issue until now because hardly anyone owned it even with the past Blackmarket sales. but now basically everyone has one since it was a very common drop from the Key lootboxes.

tanks not even remotely fair to play against having a tier 7 hull at tier 5 and being fast af, and with pref MM ur consistently gonna be bullying tier 3/4's

Judging by matchmaker, most ppl got shafted in the Blek Market lootbox event. Because not many Golden Types are actually playing, and mm is swarmed by these Panzers.

Picked up a second MOE on mine just now, after a very mediocre battle. Maybe letting the unwashed masses get their hands on it wasn't so bad after all

This is the best tier 5 in the game. Nothing comes close. 

Only thing is that tanks like the RFBM can still outvision you, and BDR clubbers are hard to deal with on the smaller maps.

It used to be a tier 6 and it did get buffs. But here's the funny thing: it was in the same patch.

 

Patch 9.15:

Pz.Kpfw. V/IV and Pz.Kpfw. V/IV Alpha:

• Vehicle's tier changed from VI to V
• Durability decreased from 820 HP to 520 HP
• Pz.Kpfw. V/IV suspension:
  • Tier changed from VI to V
  • Dispersion on move decreased by 33%
  • Dispersion on hull traverse decreased by 11%
• Pz.Kpfw. V/IV turret:
  • Tier changed from IV to V
  • View range changed from 350m to 365m
  • Traverse speed changed from 30 deg/s to 44 deg/s
• 7,5cm Kw.K. 40 L/48 gun:
  • Aiming time changed from 2.3 sec. to 2.0 sec. for the Pz.Kpfw. V/IV turret
  • Dispersion after a shot decreased by 12%
  • Dispersion changed from 0.39m to 0.37m

 

It was a lack-luster tank at tier 6 (I had it prior to the changes), but I can't really think of any tank in the game that if you buffed while moving it down a tier it wouldn't be overpowered. The only other change it has ever received was the global low tier health buffs.

Middle tier is often OP vs lower but ghetto vs higher tier tanks (Hellcat and KV-1s beiing like the only exceptions)

It doesnt meet many high tier stuff. And when it does, it's only tier 6. You can deal with those. 

A Hellcat is not E25.

It has the VR, hull armour, DPM of a tier 6, and better gun handling than most 6s.

Tier 5 HP may be punishing, but it's not nearly as punishing as it used to be before the HP buffs.

Against Tier 6s, you just have to play vision games, spam APCR, and refrain from trading. Tank's functionally a tier 6 med with shit pen and HP, after all.

I preferred minipanthers over the real tier 7 Panther ever since they were introduced. VK3002M and VK3001D, I think those are correct names, haven't played them since 2014.

This thing is basically the same tier 6 "minipanther" like the others. But for reasons unknown to mankind they decided to move it down to tier 5 AND give it preferential matchmaker. Why did they do both? Surely, one of those buffs would be sufficient.

I should play this thing more. I only have a few games in it. Because it doesnt earn battlepass points.
