AMBT Tier VIII American Premium Medium

Recommended Posts

This is a USA premium that appears to make the Progetto obsolete (at least if it keeps this combination of stats).

Probably should come with a commander called Joey Tribbiani, who says "How you doin" after clipping you back to the garage.

The AMBT, while it is American, it has a very special characteristic that comes from the Italian medium tanks: an auto-reloading gun. Its 105 mm M65P gun has a 3 shell magazine that works exactly the same way as other Italian tanks of the same and higher Tier. A unique characteristic for an American tank.

Featuring a crew of four, Commander, Gunner, Driver and Loader, the vehicle also features strong turret armour, somewhat decent mobility and enough firepower to deal with its counterparts. But its hull armour and huge lower plate need to be hidden if you want to be able to fight against your oponents.

The vehicle in-game historical reference is as follows:

“In the early 1970s, the project was proposed by Captain Timothy R. O’Neil, a Project Officer of Army Armour and Engineer Board at Fort Knox. It was supposed to decrease the vehicle size and weight to the detrimento of its armour. Mobile and stealthy vehicles were considered to counteract anti-tank weapons of that time more effectively. It was planned to use solutions from German Leopards, as well as parts and components of M60 tanks of various modifications. No prototypes were built.”

How does it compare to bisonte? because that seems its closest match (bistonte also have s turret, 3x360 and autoreloader (the improved one actually))

For now, AMBT is shittier, only stronger points(for now) are turret 250mm VS 185mm and dispersion 0.36 VS 0.4.

Prem ammo is insane, but I don't think it will be enough to make the tank that good.

Might get it since it looks cool, and it's a burger tank.

By 'get it' you mean throw lots of money at loot boxes until you get lucky, right?

0.4 accuracy with 0.2 hull dispersion and 0.16 turret dispersion, with base DPM of under 1,700 makes it sound like it may not be much fun to play.

I'll probably get one of the large box packs, as it seems to still be good value in terms of gold and prem, but I'm not gonna spam boxes for any tank, I'll get it on sale at a later date if it still looks good.

Not listed above in this thread but the after shot bloom dispersion and show aim time is a killer.

It's worse bloom after firing than a BC 155 58 :doge:
