HP Ears.. Could this be banned later?

So my play and the sea of red of once again convinced me to take a pause. So I decided to see if I could enhance my Mod pack.

 

I found this mod,but I am concerned about its legality.(apologize for small pic size)

Basically it displays the remaining HP for all your teams tanks, it also displays remaining HP for all enemy tanks that have been spotted. Once the enemy is spotted you can see his HP, even if he is on the other side of the map and even he he disappears you can still see it.

 

I want to keep my pack legit and wanted opinions on if you all think this could be banned later when Wargaming starts managing the mods.

 

Opinions appreciated.

IIRC Storm like this type of mod and say they consider to implement it later

 

so pretty sure it is legal

 

can i have the link of that mod btw?

The XVM HP display isn't always accurate though. 

 

 

Having one for the friendly team would be nice for knowing how secure a flank is though, seeing 4-5 tanks alive but knowing they're all one shot from death is different from knowing they're on decent health.

XVM displays the HP for the last time they were "spotted/in draw range".

 

How is it with this mod?

 

Since the mods only use client side information, the same.

 

Else it would be a veritable hack.

Lol as if this is a hack.

There's a chinese mod that draws a 3d model approximation of where enemy tanks are in game, for shooting outside draw range.

Non-arty shells are still capped at 720 meters, however.

nope, there's a vid of a pze100 crossmapping an arty in karelia with a blind shot, 900m.

Huh. Perhaps the max range for shells is a square, like render distance?

 

That, or gamemodels3d has errors in the data.

 

EDIT: Forgot to mention, autocannons and the like have shorter max range.

Your mod already has it if you press ALT button.

I was wondering if you could add a sound file to the 6th Sense though ...

That is true on for the ALT button, I was looking for a way to display it so you wouldn't have to press a button. After testing though this mod removes any XVM data from the players panel. At least I havent figured out how to get the XVM data to show up with this mod. So will not be adding it unless I can figure that out.

 

I will look into that. I'm also debating a seperate "Special Edition" with some UI and sound tweaks. Everyone may not like it so I don't want it to be the only one.
