Tempting, but you'd need to grind 250k XP in a JT for me plus pay back the interest. I want me a locust! P.S. are locusts any good?

At this stage i think i should be able to swing 4x 10s at 15% off. Or 3 + equipment.

Choices:

30b

50/51

M48

132-1

11juan1115a

Kran (about 30k xp short but doable if actually grind it)

Any of the other lights but would need some serious grinding to do in time.

Locusts are okay.  Fast.  No pen, not great view range.  The T-15 German is better.

Damn son. But myrepublic... Commerce commission made them rename their "gigabit fibre" offer here, on account of it not actually giving gigabit performance. Not sure what youd need that sort of bandwidth for on a domestic scale anyways.

Mate, you could go from downloading 720p porn in 10 minutes to 1080p in mere seconds.

Only prudes wouldn't get 1000/400

Real world speeds I've heard is anywhere from 600-990 Mbps. There's no fucking way they're making any money out of this thanks to the bullshit CVC pricing the NBN has, I think its more to prove a point to the Government which are still going on about how no one wants internet faster than 2512.5Mbps (They shifted the goalposts again... to ADSL2+ speeds)

Every time I hear about the NBN, it just gets worse. Its like theyre actively trying to get rid of the internet or something.

Will only be available in bumfuck nowhere because fucking communist Labor wouldn't let the rollout start in actual population centers.

There is a map that shows connections types - HFC is poo brown. Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney are covered in shit.

Imagine the ROI if literally millions of households were connected in each of the major cities to 4 strands of fibre (not the ratshit NBN model). True 1Gb speeds, potential for 10Gb, true competition between providers with NBN able to scrap the CVC BS or at least make it a nominal fee and just sit back and rake in sweet cash.

HOW FUCKING HARD CAN IT BE!?

Libs have stacked the NBN full of those with connections to Murdoch I assume. Their only interests is keeping people off content in the internet like Netflix and what not because they can't be assed making a competing service in favour of overpricing their bullshit content (looking at you Foxtel). That and a majority of the politicians have a vested interest in Telstra's future as well on top of the Murdoch empire's pressure (They fucking gave 30mil to foxtel for no reason. Federal ICAC. Now.)

Wollongong isn't quite the middle of nowhere anymore. Anyway, we can't have the Labor FTTP anymore. Lets thank the LNP for causing trillions of dollars, maybe quadrillions of dollars worth of damage to our economy by botching telecommunications in Australia. Oh I can't wait for the day we rip out all the copper in the ground in a decade to put in what we should have had in 5 years ago.

Rolled out by 2016 they said. It would be easier than the Labor NBN they said. It will be cheaper than the Labor NBN they said. You won't need more than 25Mbps they said. Like literally everything else they stand for, its all down the drain. Except SSM of course. And helping out their mates.

This is on top of botching our energy network because COALition. Fortunately thanks to factors beyond the Government's control (RESEARCH, SCIENTIFIC ADVANCEMENTS OVERSEAS since they nearly killed the csiro and bom) its made it easier for energy companies to invest in renewable sources.

You've got it all wrong Foxey.  We should be mining the SHIT out of this country to extract all the copper we can to run this internet-thingy which will be powered by glorious coal sourced from the Great Barrier Reef.

I'm reasonably sure there's at least a few of them waiting for this whole internet fad to blow over.

That will be the same ones wasting 120m on a postal vote.  Post... in 2017... post.  Without even starting on the fact you even need a plebiscite on the subject.

And the fact is that the vote's non-binding anyway.
