Grammar is the difference between knowing your shit and knowing you're shit.

But seriously, why write in ways that you wouldn't speak? Unless you're an 8 year old who says versed instead of played/fought.

It depends on the formality. I write the way I speak (you should know, we've hung out twice) when it comes to informal matters such as this thread.

However, when it comes to a formal situation, I write in a very different tone and also tend to use better grammar.

With Saffkea (thanks Bol hehe), I know he is ESL so I couldn't give a rats about how he uses English. I know a lot of ESL people and unless they ask for help, I try not to correct them.

However if an English speaker writes/speaks way below their developmental age, I'll stick it to them.

Its definately the worst 390 NATO MED.

hmm yeah i spose that would kind of put it on par with the 430, 430 does have brawlability which the 30B also lacks.

still gonna buy the 301er tho that tank looks fun

do you think the 30b is worst tier ten med? exept maybe 430?

every other tank seems to have a niche but this thing just seems really mediocre

I kind of like the 430, 5s reload is amusing..

amx30b I just a pointless tank imo and I would not recommend anyone to get it unless they have all other ten meds. even the cax has its own niche even though its a turd :P

I find that anything it does the Leo does better no matter what the stats tells you.

I would recommend at least a 3 skill crew with BIA and Food, it has excellent pen and shell velocity, but the gun is derpy as hell, think STB-1 levels. You'll have fully aimed shots on stationary targets hit the dirt in front of the tanks 50m away.

You let him off because he is ESL?

I don't openly make fun of him, instead I giggle and think about how much better at YouTube and streaming Felix Kjellberg is.

CAX just felt better than the 30B for me in every way. I haven't played much at all in the 30B however so i'll give it a proper crack later.

The CAX turret can actually be decent as long as you minimise exposure. Sorta like the STB turret. As long as you keep moving you can hulldown pretty safely.

Plus the CAX UFP can actually bounce some shit while the 30b is paper all around. The 'better' 30b turret compared to the Leo isn't worth jack because everything still pens it anyway.

Edit: The 30b turret might be proof against HE, but seriously, only shitters shoot HE regularly and most here can outplay pubbies in a Leo for that not to matter anyway. I must admit sometimes I run full HE E100 sometimes just for shits and giggles though.

I dont tend to watch my own replays as I am at the stage where I tend to know in game if I have fucked up or if I did not adjust and adapt quickly enough..

Sometimes the team is just shit but sometimes I know if I played it differently I could have carried harder as well.

75% of winning games imo is your initial starting position and learning how to read enemy line up.  That just comes from watching better players play and how they set up initially, how they quickly adapt and adjust if they are getting outnumbered or outgunned. Replay packs is also a good idea, I tend to just DL a replay pack here and there and fast forward through them to see the positioning they take up.

If you set up wrong initially it does not really matter to much how you play it later in the game as you keep playing catch up.

So team, visiting some family at the moment and have noticed a bit of instability in the internet connection. Anyway, decided to hurr-durr it up in the IS-6 (being such a forgiving tank) for the week. Realised this might be an opportunity to push my game-play to the next level by looking at what I am regularly doing wrong! So anyway, 1st 10 games out of the way, and I need to face the reality that I cant just blame it on my team, that the discrepancy between my DPG and WR (although granted this is a small sample) is a result of poor positioning for at least some of the game. My question to you guys is, for those of you who have done something like this, have you found it beneficial to review the replays afterwards, note down the mistakes you think you made after the game or is the process of playing a single tank for a 100 games or so enough to make you look at what is and isnt working?

Watching other people's replays is what did it for me, you already know what mistakes your making just 90% of the time you'll ignore them because it's easier to keep making the same mistakes.

Watching a session of replays will give you insight into what youre doing wrong and what they're doing right.

Also stop playing when on tilt

If the Leo is a 10 then your scale would probably be out of 15.

The T95 is a 100/100 if you're backed into a window on Ruinberg, just so you know.

Rating the Leo as a 10 and calling the 30B a 9.5 does not mean the 30B is a turd though.. Both great tanks on the right maps.

But in the context of 'which to get' it basically says all that is required.

For some reason i had in my mind that the 30b had better gun handling than it does. As is i can't see it having many draw cards. Further it's not even a good looking tank nor can ram.

Except the 30b is noticeably worse than the Leo and in this corridor meta both tanks are very hit and miss anyway

Pretty much what Val said,

On paper it does have better stats

In-game well it does not feel like it :P

I actually quite like my 30B, fairly enjoyable to solopub in (not good in platoons though). The gun handling on the 30B is exceptional, and both the hull and turret can trollbounce better than the leopard.

Definitely not a great tank in the current meta, but it is not one of the worst T10 mediums that I have played. The 121 takes that crown.

Yeah, i tried to love the 121 to the extent of moving my good crew up to it, but it never gelled. Good crew back to the wz120 and enjoy its strength relative to tier considerably more.
