After completing LT5.3 (spot for allies to cause 3 kills) last night in my T49 on Sacred Valley with only 700 assisted damage (but 2.4k damage done) I'm convinced that for missions it's just a matter of playing enough games for RNG to gift you the mission.

I've completed all my T55A SPG missions while grinding the FV3805 towards CGC (which was unlocked about a month back, and my FV3805 sold).

Which is why I've seen a lot of 1k WN8 50% WR shitters out there driving T55A... all with at least 20-30k games played. Just two days ago I saw an Obj260 driver with 1.4k WN8 and 52% WR on Airfield, 40k battles played.

Nothing new I guess. For arty missions it's more RNG than any other class. All you need to do is keep trying @Saffee

You know arty is balanced when you play Siegfried line encounter and the complete opposite of what you try to do happens.

My teams  430 and 140 goes and parks in A1 because reasons.

I gave them a minute or two to move before constructive criticism was coming their way,

by the time we went 3-0 down in the city I told them to move or eat my CGC shell, 430 moved, 140 did not, 

I fired and missed the 140 by about the same distance that is between Sweden and Australia, 10 splash dmg or so, he did move though

1 minute later I try to support the 430 that has gotten himself into trouble with a batchat,

Bat on reload, 430 chasing him around a bunker, distance between them probably 25-30m 

Fire ze millise, 400 damage to batchat in splash, Direct hit on our 430....

Im not sure if its karma for him being an absolute shitter early on but yeah.

SPG missions... now there's something i hadn't thought of. Maybe i should just jump in whatever comes after the GwP and become a clicker. Are they relatively easy to get through? Or just an extended exercise in RNG?

Of all the classes' sets, I completed the SPG set first for StuGIV, HTC and T55A tiers - without even spamming games, unlike the other classes. In most cases it's just clearing doubles and you'll eventually clear the missions.

That should say something about how fucking easy it is to do SPG missions for the Personal Missions.

Missions = RNG

A lot of them are pretty cruise modish, now you can work on green win8 and purple winrate,

just swap em around  

 

Also, extra creds and hawt chick waiting for you if you are patient.

I've one-shot enemy T34 in my FV3805 twice. 1500 HP instant evaporation. I think there were a few other one-shots but I can't remember them since they were medium/lights and slightly less notable. I do however recall several (about 5) one-shots on motionless T49s (presumably aiming).

I still haven't bought the CGC as I've no desire to play it in pubs, intending it just for CW.

Maybe after I unlock the 260 set of missions I might buy it. We'll see. *shrugs* I just don't feel like playing arty nowadays.

So my choices for arty would be to jump mid lines... S51, or lower tier stuff in other nations or the GwT P. By the looks of the GwT P, it's big, slow, has shit every stat, but a big gun. It strikes me as a horrible idea... but i like horrible ideas.

Or of course i could just do some fail tooning and try for 15.3...
