Anyone playing Rocket League here? Why I'm so suck at it. 7 games, 1 win. :feelsbad:

Was better than me at League of Legends ranked.

Lost all 10 of my placement matches and lost 7 more games in a row afterwards.

I don't like that kind of game, LoL, Dota, HoN etc. Because I don't understand a thing.

Wow you play DOTA. I'm so sad that I don't like those kind of games........

Only likes FPS, or RTS things like Counter Strike 1.6

DotA is like playing RTS with only 1 unit, and with 2-3 layers of extra gameplay features added on top. But its backbone is still an RTS (Warcraft III).

@bolagnaise my computer started pulling its bullshit again. This time I upgraded to WinX 1151 which had given me issues before with my registry - worked fine this time. However, I have a hardware issue where my motherboard won't recognise a cable plugged into it unless I unplug it and plug it in again and run the troubleshooter, happened when I was on Win 7 after a thunderstorm.

Anyway when I was fixing the issue my fucking monitor issue happened again. Time to unplug the hdmi cable and put back in, reset the cmos and try to get it working again. So fucking frustrating!

Nope, graphics card. I thought I may have bumped it and caused it to come loose, which of course would interrupt the signal to the monitor. When I get home I'll check the GPU connection to the motherboard, turn off both at the wall and restart.

Dude, I'm a westerner but even I know how the SGP geography and public transport is such that you have no excuse, lah :)

Alamah!

FYI all, I've updated my website with WN8 v27 (the latest).  You can see the differences between v26 & v27 here - there's quite a lot: https://mmrngluck.azurewebsites.net/WN8/Changes.aspx

I just did a quick update over my lunch break and i think there's a couple or minor issues (missing tanks - mainly just new ones).

Is anyone here into graphical design. I'm looking at redoing my YouTube picture. The last one I used some website that gave you shapes and made in in 5 minutes. I want it more tanks oriented. Will make it worth your time.

DarkNStormy used to do all the old MP banners. he was a god at design - might try to hit him if he still exists.

Okay , so from what I'm getting , it's good for Britain to leave?

(Just checking so I don't misinterpret  the text)

No.  It's a fucking disaster for them and world economies.  The people who engineered it have a massive cluster fuck on their hands.

A few notes

  • No one has any idea how they will do it.
  • The leave brigade have been exposed as having lied from start to finish
  • The Prime Minister has quit making it the problem of people that lead the movement
  • Scotland want out as they want to be in Europe and were lied to by the British government during their independence debate
  • Northern Ireland is a mess.
  • The elderly voted for something the youth have to live with and didn't want.
  • Public displays of racism have sky-rocketed with fat white Englishman asking anyone who isn't white why they have not gone home yet.
  • The leave leaders now want all the privelges and advantages of being in Europe with none of the costs.  This won't happen.
  • Europe will be very strict because they can't afford for it to be a success or others might try and leave as well.
  • Many of Australia and New Zealand's European trade-deals were piggy-backed on the UK when they joined the EEC.  Could have significant impacts for both nations with a lack of access to European markets.

Then why is it that the youtube community supports the brexit? Youtubers like Thunderfoot are getting slammed for supporting to remain , I'm really confused because both sides keep accusing each other of lying. Maybe this is what I get for relying on youtube for information....

As for why the internet supports it, the internet (or certain sections of reddit and various sections of an unnamed game forum anyway...) has a lot of strangely gung-ho right wing 'Murica types, with a sprinkling of lolbertarians. They view this as a victory for democracy and the little guy, which, hey, whatever, it is. Of course that would be true either way, but because the faction they supported won, it was definitely because democracy.

Anyway, the debate wound up being played out much like the worst of recent 'Murican politics: Appeals to emotion at the expense of fact, smear tactics designed to portray the "liberal" stay group as elitist collectivist corporate whores (not quite sure how that works) and the "conservative" leave group as racist morons. End result is old people voting on gut instinct, young people feeling politically disenchanted and not voting, and no one actually making an informed choice. Hence the sudden spike in google searches for "What is the EU" after the referendum, and some sudden instances of remorse from places like Cornwall who realised too late that leaving the EU will cost them tens of millions in EU investment. And of course theres the group who were so sure that remain would take it they didnt bother voting...

As for the youtube comments section, its a nightmare in there, and the crazy is everywhere.
