I'm thinking of lighting my rig purple. Altho with the way I've been playing, I might have to switch to blue.

 

LOL.

 

My PC has blue lighting, the mouse is bluish-green and the keyboard red.

And going purple... the only brand that seems to be supporting that colour is Tesoro... And that's barely purple, not in terms of LED lighting as well.

 

Anyway... is moddiy.com good for purchasing the lighting parts?

a while back i saw somebody build a rig in a fish tank

 

was legit

 

puget systems did a good amount of this a while back.  they also sold kits and I believe still do.

That was right after i swapped cpu cooler's (from antec kuhler 920 to h110)

 

Case: CM Haf X 942

Mobo: Gigabyte UD3H- Z77

CPU: 3570K @ 4.2 - Could go highier but this seems to be the sweet spot cause .04 volt increase and it is completely stable

Heatsink: H110 280mm waterblock - this thing is awesome - core idles are about 25-30 in game - 40(ish) prime95 - 60

Memory - 16gb crucial sport 1600 mhz

PSU: Corsair HX850

SSD: Vector 128gb

HD's: a 1TB and a 320gb

GPU: 560ti - Will probably upgrade to some 780

Fancontroller: bitfenix somethin - I use it to control the fans on the waterblock

Monitors: 2 23inch dell IPS & 23inch samsung sitting on the side so i can eventually game @ 5760* 1080

Keyboard: Logitech G510s

Mouse: Razer Ouroboros - expensive but pretty & works really freakin good

Headset: Corsair Vengeance 2000

Controller: Razer Sabertooth

Computer is running fine, still haven't OC'd yet. Did more CM work, still need to put the white plexi in the cutouts + LED lighting. Also need to finish changing the coolant colors with Mayhems Dye.

Did he get an all in one or an actual desktop?

 

The gpu is several generations old, RAM on the low side, and I can't find an i5 330 on google. Closest I can find is an i3 330m which is a mobile proc, hence the question as to whether or not it's an all in one.

My guess is he meant an i3-530 or something like that.
