bummp.  Considering updating this, but tl;dr - g is still recruiting...

 

You could at least change the first post to direct people to someone who is still in the clan...

we are the best paying top clan as far as I know.

This popped up on the front page so I decided to give it a read. I got as far as page 3 and found the quote above.

Kind of ironic that the guy who posted that has been regressing spectacularly for at least 1000 battles.

Likely because he hasn't really played many games in the last 2 years and doesn't really care any more. Seriously, do you realize that post is OVER 2 years old...?

Of course - I did say I found it on page 3 - I just found it ironic and amusing that a recruitment message posted by someone with at least some power in a clan said that, even if it was two years ago. 

I never said it was pertinent, nor is anything else in this thread (beyond whimsical nostalgia and seeing what Garbad used to post), as it appears (and has been stated on the last two pages) to be dead.

No, you specifically poked at Nemesis' recents in contradistinction to his post, in complete ignorance of the circumstances in which he posted that statement and what has happened in-between. Perhaps you should avoid commenting on issues you have no context for? And perhaps you should avoid dredging up 2 year old posts?

If it isn't pertinent, why even bring it up?

The entire reason why it was ironic is that - regardless of yadayadayada - a dude from -G-, in the -G- recruitment topic, made it clear that 'Constant improvement is big' if you are in/applying to -G-, when he is backsliding faster than anyone I've ever seen (if he hasn't sold his account).

If you start digging up the whys and wherefores with the context of what has happened between then and now it loses its ironic appeal.

It just goes to show that you always have to be careful whenever you write anything down which will have some level of permanence, as it can bite you in the ass down the line. So maybe it is pertinent, if only as an abstract lesson about being careful what you post.

Jeez, you're thick. I know the whys and wheretofores, and you are ignorant of them, yet you insist on making some point that only you seem to find ironic. The fact that you don't even know who Nem is and yet feel like you can intelligently comment on this is the only irony. Regardless, I'm locking the thread so shitters can't come around to necro 2 year old statements.
